Bergkirchweih, Erlangen’s annual festival - akin to Munich’s Oktoberfest - opens in a different beer cellar every year and is attended by over a million people in its twelve-day run around Pentecost.

... now, whenever I come across another one of these memorial stones, they link up in one large map of memories in my mind. I read the names, the dates, and it makes history come alive. The idea of the "Stolpersteine" is simple, beautiful and effective.
