GASSAN

Let a tour of GASSAN Diamonds be the sparkeling highlight of your trip to Amsterdam! GASSAN Diamonds, is located in a beautiful restored originally steam driven diamond factory and was built in 1879. Every year more than 350.000 visitors experience a unique tour through the industrial factory. Visitors can view the diamond polishers at their craft, while multilingual guides explain where diamonds are found and how rough diamonds turn into dazzling brilliants. Loose polished diamonds are shown as well as an elaborate jewelry collection. After the tour you can see our extensive jewelry and watch collection in our Boutique. Also have a look in our in-house Rolex Boutique. For over 400 years diamond polishers have perfected the art of giving maximum life to the brilliant cut diamond. At GASSAN Diamonds this tradition is being continued and we are proud to introduce a breathtaking and worldwide patented cut: GASSAN 121, with one hundred and twenty one facets.

We visited Gassan through as one of the hop on-hop off bus stops. They offer a free tour, which is really nice and interesting. Our guide Farida offered lots of information we did not know about diamonds, she was really friendly and professional. Best part of the tour was the demonstration of real diamonds in various cuts where the visitor can see the differences in clarity, cut, carats and colours at close.
