Cuquet de Llum is a "must visit" when you are in Alicante. As the only shop with exclusively Alicante-only products, it is a wonderful way to stock up on wine, chocolates, honey, baked goods, and more. The proprietor, Paco, is incredibly friendly and helpful --- his sommelier training is evident as he recommends wine-food pairings. And the prices are super reasonable!

Carmen Del Campillo Moriscos

I recently went to these tea rooms with a bus group and loved it. The place is so charming and well displayed. I enjoyed wandering the gardens and truly felt I was in Morocco. The lovely stone paths, the calming music, the pottery, the Bedouin tent, the resident peacock, everything was perfect. The selection of teas was incredible, I had a delicious Rooibos chocolate flavoured tea. I also loved the baklava type pastries. As the sun set, the gardens and tea rooms took on a romantic, exotic feel. I wandered the candlelit paths and discovered many more interesting scenes. I didn't want to leave. If you are looking for something a bit different, this is the place to visit. It can be hard to find as it's tucked away but that is part of the charm. I will be bringing out of town guests here to be sure!!

It is a local markets so, the therefore , it closes in the afternoon for the siesta period. In there, you will find high-quality products and at reasonable prices as well.
