We were advised to try the Osteria del Porto by someone ... who had never been there but who had heard of the place.Plastic tables, plastic chairs, plastic cutlery, only one white wine "dalla spina" (on the draught) but very fresh food. The terrace (all tables are outside, under a big umbrella that was soon too small to host all guests) doubled in size while we had our lunch.Food is super fresh (one is about ten meters away from te sea): spaghetti vongole, spaghetti frutti di mare for 7,5⬠grigliata mista (polio, sepia, gamberoni) 12â¬, Seppie or polpo with patatoes 6â¬, four grilled gamba's 8â¬, half a litre of sparkling wine 4â¬, .....Compare the place to:- a Belgian "frituur"- an oriental kebab place, - an English fish and chips standbut with fresh sea food at an unbeatable price.Must try when in Torre a Mare!

Having read some great reviews on TA decided to give this restaurant a try. I made an email reservation and was replied to very quickly. The waiter was very informative and helpful suggesting various dishes etc. The menu and wine list are comprehensive and very affordable, the service being efficient and courteous.Overall we were impressed and will definitely be returning.

Our hotel manager recommended that we eat lunch at Ianne. The decor is charming, as is everything else about this establishment! Our waitress actually asked if wanted the AC higher-a great start in my book!! For starters, we began with the sea and land appetizer. It came out in multiple installments, one small plate after the other. I can't begin to describe the dishes because I couldn't possibly do them justice. We were told that the selection varies depending on what is fresh-another plus in m y book!!! As our entree, we chose risotto with arugula and mint-a novel dish which was awesome!!! We shared a bottle of local wine, water. At the end, a bottle of homemade limoncello was brought out for us to enjoy at our leisure!!! Dare I say more?

I had to come for business reasons to Turi. One evening I had dinner in this restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. Good food, suprising creations, tradition and new cooking, all together made it a very good experience. The staff was extraordinary friendly and made a good atmosphere.

13 spectacular courses Tucked away in the small streets of Torre a Mare this place was a great find. We spent New Years Eve here and glad we did. Food was excellent - staff was friendly and accommodating, prices were reasonable. We were a little concerned when making out reservation - they were slow to respond to emails and when we finally called we weren't sure we communicated well in English so we weren't sure our reservation was confirmed but when we arrived they welcomed us by name and all was good. Assuming the everyday menu is as good as NYE we highly recommend. Buon Apetito!

We booked at this restaurant for a dinner with friends. We got really impressed by the fancy location, as well as by the courtesy of the staff.We tasted several appetizers and 2 different main courses. Every plate was introduced and well described by the waiter Davide. We loved every single thing we tried, it was all delicious and cooked to perfection.Don't forget to try the dessert (we particularly appreciated the "cannolo scomposto" and the "baked peach" with a smoked aftertaste which was truly amazing!)Definitely worth trying and highly recommended if you want to try genuine italian food with a classy twist.Good quality to price ratiothanks so much !!! ;-)
