This was the 1st restaurant we ate in S. Giorgio. I ordered the mix fish grill and was served up a treat. The mix was far more than I expected and was delicious. The service was good and quick.No English was spoken but we got where we both wanted to get. :)

Great food and service, overlooking the beach - wonderful for lunch and dinner and especially nice to sit and watch the sunset whilst enjoying the local cuisine and a cold glass of wine - highly recommend !

Antipasto misto niente di che senza sapori tranne per le cipolle agrodolce ottime. Sarde alla beccafico buone. Paccheri all'Eoliana brutti e l'accostamento verdure fredde con piatto caldo... insomma. Il piatto chiamato "il veliero" per due buono abbondante con frutti di mare, mezzo astice e 1 scampo, e se è per due... In quattro 110⬠un pò caro rispetto al cibo e alla qualità ...

We dined on 18/1, restaurant quiet because out of season and midweek day. We were staying at nearby Yachting Club who recommended this place and we are glad they did! The restaurant is within walking distance and with lovely view of the sea, or so we imagined as we were too late in the day to appreciate that...We had really delicious pasta and fish courses, washed down with local white wine. We passed on dessert as portions are very generous. Service was attentive and friendly. We definitely recommend this little gem.

Ordered in English/Italian but was served more and different than we asked for. The salmon was bacon, an extra dish with meat, and the pasta was over-cooked. We could have voiced our dissatisfaction but it seemed too late. Perhaps we were just unlucky.

After eating throughout Gioiosa Marea, this was hands down, both the friendliest and amenable venue that we had encountered.The pricing was excellent and the food was what I had expected from Sicily, fresh and rural.The venue had an outside seating area, which was impeccably placed and remarkably clean and tidy. The staff even came out from the kitchen and picked herbs from outside the church, which was the positioning for the eating area.it is worth the walk from the coastal perch into the depths of the town and I throughly recommend this venue if you enjoy food and geniality.Grazie per aver lasciato un commento. When we visited Sicily in late September, La Piazzetta became our favorite spot for dinner.The restaurant is located on a picturesque square in the middle of the village. The inside is inviting, but donât expect anything to fancy. A lot of locals were dining there, which is always a good sign! Staff were friendly and helpful, judging from other reviews I suppose it helped that the busy season was already over.As for the food: I especially loved the mixed seafood antipasto and all the pizzas.

Il nome è appropriato,in cima si gode di una vista mozzafiato. La cucina è tipica degli agriturismi del circondario,discreta ma con pochi picchi di eccellenza. Rapporto qualità /prezzo con sconto TheFork ottimo. Consigliato.
