We went here largely as it was the only place open we could see without going too far from our hotel. It was perfect. Whilst it is Italian primarly, there are plenty of local Greek dishes on the menu and the staff were very helpful in describing them to help us choose. Very relaxed and perfect view over the beach, sea, and stars.

Stopped off here based on the TripAdvisor reviews. Service was a little slow but they were very busy. Food was great although they forgot our starter! Didnât get charged for it. Reasonable price! What more could you ask for? Oh yeah a starter! Never mind!

LOCATION. The restaurant and the bar are located on the beach - 50 meters from the sea. Good view. Sea breeze saves from the heat. Sometimes, however, feels even cold and windy. We changed the table as sitting at the one closest to the beach was not comfortable. EXTERIOR. Simultaneously simple and original. Nice (thought fake) lighthouse. Nice small fountain. SERVICE. Excellent. Staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Surprisingly there were no wasps (bees) - we quite often faced them in Rodos restaurants. FOOD. We enjoyed everything we had. Set of Greek starters (humus, tsatsiki, etc), baked cheese (!!!), Greek salad were superb! Cuttlefish was good, though we did not like the garnish (sort of cereal garnish). Beef was average and a bit spice for my daughter taste. But we did not come here for beef - seafood plate (!!!) was exquisite. OVERALL EXPERIENCE. Family business. One brother is a general manager. The second brother runs the bar. The third brother runs the restaurant. Adult children work as waiters and in the kitchen. Excellent food and service. We had the most expensive dinner bill here while staying on Rodos but do not regretted at all for any euro spent. Conversely, we are happy we stopped by and had our meal at Lighthouse. We loved the place and would come back.Thank you very much for your comments ... !!!We look forward to seeing you again ... !!!

Staying near Lardos we remembered coming here about 5 years ago and thought to give it another try. Werenât disappointed. Only had sparkling water to drink. Had cheese saganaki to start which was delicious along with crusty bread. We then chose our bass from the kitchen and was probably the best fish Iâve ever tasted. A little olive oil and lemon applied and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Chips were some of the best Iâve ever had too. Maybe some veg would have been ideal but it was plenty for the two of us. Home madeDesert (which I canât pronounce let alone spell) that basically consisted of a type of baklava with filo pastry but no nuts with some kind custard in the middle topped off the evening. Attentive and knowledgable staffCombined with great food made the evening fantastic. â¬66 wasnât the cheapest meal we have had but well worth it. Would recommend.

We got some very fresh, delicious food for lunch, we tried almost all of the starters for sharing, and itâs all very delicious!! The owner Michalis, very nice and very helpful and the place has a charm from old time authentic Greek tavernas .Thank you very much. Hope to see you again..

Ate and drank in here every day of my holiday! Family run beach side taverna serving fresh caught fish/seafood, souvlaki and gyros or the worlds biggest pork chop youâll ever eat! Ice cold beers, wines, juices and frappe too. Momma and her children run this bar, who also eat and drink here too, along with many locals, which is always a good sign. Great familiar service and home cooked fresh food, prices no different than anywhere else. Beautifully located on Gennadi beach, a more perfect spot youâll never find!

We discovered this place near the end of our holiday but it was well worth seeking out. Right on the beach and such lovely people. We only had drinks and a snack but it was a very laid back place with good music and we would have gone back if weâd had time.

We had food here on 2 occasions whilst enjoying a day on the beach. The service was good and the salads were always fresh and tasty . Reasonably priced and in a great location overlooking Gennadi beach. The chefâs salad was a particular favourite of mine .
