I have visited this part of Italy many times and have always been disappointed at the food available from restaurant.This is mainly because the food available from those who have hosted me, the people in the area is so good.In contrast to the usual experience the food at Beatrice is excellent, authentic and tasty.We had the pizza and calamari both very satisfying and not overpriced. The fresh vegetable dishes also looked good.

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale, non lontano dal percorso della "vecchia via Francigena" e dal Castello di Terrarossa, maniera che presidia ancora la strada nazionale che porta al valico della Cisa. Un aiuto ed una buona base logistica per chi ama percorrere i sentieri del turismo antico. Servizio cordiale, buona cucina, tanto spazio, cucina quasi a vista, buon parcheggio. Ho apprezzato la lasagnetta al ragù, la focaccia ed il pollo alla cacciatora. Anche l'arrosto brasato non era male. Frequentato da avventori locali. Simpaticissimo e cordiale il gestore.

We arrived in Aulla after a 10 hour hike in temperatures over 30c. We did not want to walk very far from the hotel to eat. We chose la Grigliata for no better reason than because it was nearby. However, it proved to be an excellent choice. The location is not wonderful. This part of town is more noted for servicing vehicles or buying building materials. Nevertheless, none of this is obvious from the upstairs outside dining area. This is a family business. Mother waits on, and her son is the chef. The service was excellent; polite, friendly, helpful and always with a smile. There was no menu. Instead we had to choose from either a meat menu or a fish menu, both â¬20. My wife and I both went for the fish. First there were three dishes: grilled sardines, scampi and swordfish. Excellent. We were both almost full up. Then came spaghetti with seafood, delicious, and we were bursting. We thought we had finished, but then came lobster sized prawns on a bed of salad. We ate them with difficulty. We washed this banquet down with a bottle of the local white wine. It was a delicious meal. We went back to the hotel feeling replete and content.

Siamo stati a cena in questo bel ristorante che ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso con una calda accoglienza, eleganza, professionalità . Abbiamo apprezzato i piatti eccellenti preparati con passione e con ingredienti di eccezionale qualità .Abbiamo preso una frittura di calamari e zucchine fresche come antipasto, una delle più buone mangiate ultimamente, croccante e dalla consistenza perfetta. Come primo abbiamo scelto i tagliolini fatti in casa ai frutti di mare e crema di pachino giallo, un accostamento inedito e delizioso. Per secondo abbiamo scelto lâorata allâimperiale, un filetto gustosissimo accompagnato da crostacei su un letto di patate. Anche il tiramisù al sifone fatto al momento è eccezionale. Abbiamo scelto il buon vermentino della casa e concluso con una grappa e caffè. Il personale è molto attento e professionale e ci ha saputo consigliare perfettamente. Lo chef Alessandro dimostra tutta la sua passione per la cucina offrendo unâesperienza di alto livello a prezzi estremamente accessibili. à stata una scoperta piacevole e preziosa, consigliatissimo.

Nuova location, non facilissimo da trovare ma molto grazioso. Possobilita' di cenare con il menu a "Tema" oppure il loro menu classic.Qualita' sempre sempre perfetta e ben cucinata. Portate molto abbondanti (forse troppo). Cortesia e pulizia. Unico neo, forse il rumore, ma questo dipende dagli avventori. Torneremo certamente.

Sono stato recentemente in questo ristorante per un pranzo di lavoro. A pranzo fa servizio a Self service. Se non avete molto tempo è il posto ideale: ampio parcheggio, facile da trovare, cibi buoni e hanno la parvenza di piatti cucinati in casa. Il locale è molto luminoso e pulito. Il personale molto correse e disponibile. Il prezzo in linea con i prezzi di un pranzo di lavoro: 12⬠per primo, secondo contorno, frutta ed acqua. Ci tornerò.

We found this on our trip from the Italian coastline towards home. After a few twisty turns on a tight road we finally arrived to this genuine Italian restaurant. Itâs very simple, no fancy stuff, but very pleasant and warm. We just got there on lunch time and there was a lot of workers from nearby coming in for a meal. The whole experience was very authentic, totally non-tourist, while the staff were really nice and attentive. The food was good, especially the starters, and the wine was enjoyable and affordable. We paid a little over â¬35,00 for the four of us and left with full bellies and good impression.

Myself and my friend (coeliac) went here as we had heard they did gluten free food and we were so grateful for how brilliant they were! Our server said that herself and her mother were both coeliacs. We had such a delicious lunch out on the shaded terrace, we could have stayed for longer! I felt so bad that I hadn't any cash to tip them :( Would highly recommend!

We were a big group sitting at the tables outside, and really enjoyed our meal! The portions were big and the food good, and really cheap! The location is a little outside, but definitely worth it!
