"Open Gallery" is a long-term interdisciplinary project and cultural initiative, which presents the urban culture in an extraordinary way and creatively enlivens the post-industrial district of Naujamiestis. This project is aimed to present alternative creative projects such as paintings on the factory walls, visual installations, sculptures, performances, film sessions, etc.

Not the easiest to find for non locals, the art is located within inner courtyard of an entire city block in the Naujamiestis section of the city, bordered east-west by Vytenio and Svitrigailos streets and north-south by Kauno and Paneriu streets. The best entrance is on the southern side of the block on Paneriu street. One circular walk around the entire inside of the courtyard, stopping to see all the art will only take 10-20 minutes depending how many photos you seek to take. The art itself varies in quality, style and originality, being something for everyone.

The manor was purchased by private investors, renovated, and transformed into museum- cultural centre. The current process of reviving the palace is just stunning. The Ilzenbergas mannor features a landsdcape of green meadows, farm animals in the enclosures, various plants, gardens, lake with an island and much more. You can book a tasting or a guided tour. Great place for families (because of animals, nature, huge territory) and couples (romantic walks, tastings, restaurant). We have visited this place in July 2018 when a live concert was taking place there.

We are located in district of Birzai, near the Manor of Astravas, to the direction of Draseikiai village. We are inviting you to walk around the barefoot park. The length of the barefoot trail is about a kilometer. Stones, sand, sawdust, reeds and other foot massaging surfaces are waiting for you.

Located between the Paluse and Meironys villages, near Lusiai lake is a 3.5-kilometer training botanical trail, which can be passed by walking or cycling. TRAIL IS MARKED WITH SPECIAL MARKING ON TREES - WHITE SQUIRES WITH GREEN LINE.
