Port Douglas Eco Segway Tours

The rainforest and coastal beaches of Australia have always been an adventure playground for me. Port Douglas and the surrounding area has a rich history and culture. We love the indigenous element that this area reflects. It is also known for its serenity and is one of the last places in Australia where the Great Barrier Reef meets the oldest rainforest on the planet. The World Heritage Dantree National Park. We love our country and the wildlife habitat that surrounds this area.

We did the 3-day-rainforest-reef-skyrail We had an amazing experience all 3 days. We felt this was the best way to experience the rainforest, Great Barrier Reef and the Kuranda village Rainforest/Cape Tribulation - the driver/guide was very knowledgeable about the rainforest which made the whole day trip interesting. GBR - Snorkelling in GBR is the best part of our Australia trip. Very clear water, saw colorful fish, the reef was not that colorful but pretty good. Saw a small shark as well. The food they served was excellent, they grilled the main entrees there along with few salads. The evening wine, snack and fruit platters was good too. The staff was super helpful. We were not expert swimmers, so the staff helped us with snorkeling. They made sure we felt comfortable. Both the reef stops were excellent. The second stop was even better. Kuranda Village - Went up via the train. It was good with nice views of the rainforest, the falls. Don't expect too much though. The way back was supposed to be on the Gandola, but due to lightning they stopped the skyrail and transported us in Busses. The Skytail staff was pretty helpful in sending us down in the first bus as we had to fly back to cairns that evening.BillyTeaSafaris refunded too for the Skyrail portion.
