Excellent french food at a fair price with a good atmosphere and decor.
All of the other dishes we saw also looked equally appetising and the wine was good.
The service was excellent, very attentive and understanding with our limited french. The Chartreuse Creme Brule was particularly excellent.

We were searching for a functional meal at a reasonable price, and were hoping for a good meal, but were blown away by the standard of service, quality of the food and presentation.
I chose the set menu while my partner went with one of the chef's suggestions for the day. Both were really good.
The service was impeccable; young waiter incredibly friendly and more than happy to make suggestions when we hesitated. He also frequently came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
Ambience of the restaurant was cozy, and appropriate for intimate occasions as it was not at all noisy.
Great value for money, all things considering. Fine-dining experience for the price of a regular meal. We recommend this place.

We were visiting this lovely Chartreuse town and wanted something different for lunch. We settled on this Asian place, mainly because it was NOT the usual "Volunte" buffet of over-heated frozen Chinese food usually found in France. Coming from a background of enjoying the wonderful food of Chinatown, San Francisco, we are a bit spoiled but keep trying for at least a decent Asian food experience in France. ( A few good places in Paris).
This place was the usual disappointment. My Spring Rolls contained masses of very OLD bean sprouts, a couple of shrimp and that was about it. My main course of Pineapple Chicken was served in a tomato sauce with pineapple and tomato, almost inedible. My husband fared better with his Thai soup, which at least had some taste.
So sad that what the average Frenchman thinks of as Asian food is really so dreadful!
Sure wish some Chinese would come to France to try to educate their palates!

We had a very nice dinner at Le Valgo, during a hail storm. We sat outside but kept it dry.
As a starter we also had a speciality: petites oreilles d'anes and petites ravioles aux ecre (as I don't like cheese, this wasn't really my thing).
My wife had a Filet de St Pierre (fish) and I had a very nice steak (boeuf sauce vigneronne).

We have just got back from an evening at this wonderful restaurant! It was wonderful! Not easy to find but well worth the effort to search. The owner/ waiter/cook, all in one, was special, friendly and authentic!
Food fab, wine excellent! All in all a relaxed, calm, tasty evening! We recommend!

Lovely little place with nice terrasse. Very small daily menu prepared with fresh ingredients and care. Delicate taste. Variety on the plate. Desserts that call you back! Friendly owners. (The chef even asked children at the next table what vegetable they would like on their plate!)

Traditional Brittany crêperie, large choice of buckweat (gluten free) galettes and sweet weat flour crêpes. Flours, ciders, beers, and some of the alcools straight from Brittany. Home made cuisine, crêpes are not prepared in advance. We are open tuesday to saturday, lunch and diner.
