I have been a regular at Giordanos, before they even had the garden restaurant!, in fact, since their opening in 1990! Although they have added the wood-firing oven only a few years back - the garden atmosphere and the quality of the pizzas have remained...MoreBOOM ! Thank you thank you thank you. With not much open on a Sunday night, We took a punt on the Apia yacht club and enjoyed the evening breeze with a nice view looking back at Apia.
Service was initially prompt but gradually became very average compared to the outstanding service received elsewhere during our holiday.
Food wise we had steaks with chips which was which was fine, perfectly cooked steaks, with bland chips and a nice side salad. But it was the service that was the biggest let down. On finishing dinner we waited for a desert menu and as we watched the staff mill around at the counter, after 5 minutes of waiting, sitting there by ourselves in the restaurant being ignored, we decided to go search for desert elsewhere.
Overall, quaint venue with good food and very average service.

The food quality at this odd restaurant located on outskirts of Apia was surprisingly high, and service was attentive. Prices quite reasonable.
The decor detracted. A shop front with some attempt to create a theme but still looks more like a cheap suburban Sandwich shop. But appears to get a lot of local traffic so that probably doesn’t matter much.
There really are very few dining options in Apia so this is the best - certainly beats the average resort food.
About 5-10 minutes and WST 7 in a taxi from central Apia.

When you arrive you seriously think this is someone's house. Apparently have recently moved to this location. Beautiful welcome by staff with the door opened on your arrive. Friendly staff to the max!! The pina colada and my friend had a strawberry daiquiri were amazing. Food was plentiful, hot and omg tasty. I had the ribs with coleslaw and mashed potato. So good. WOW. I would definitely recommend this as a place to go. But be aware our meals and 1 cocktail each and 2 bottles of water was about WST166 . So on the pricey side but really really good. The staff were amazingly friendly and very chatty

When we decided where to go to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary - we both knew - Bistrau Tatau - would be the answer. Most dishes are nouvelle cuisine-style with mixture of Samoan and mediteranean flavours- our favorite entry is the famous double-baked souffle and our mains are fresh and superbly cooked fish of the day - marlin, tuna and masi-masi, being the best. We also enjoy the quiet atmsophere - with its special fine-dining decor (with its signature wall-fresco of famous Samoan artist Fatu Feu'u) and atmosphere, without the crowd noise of our other favorite restaurants in town. They also have great signature desserts, the cheese-cake being one of my favorites. The service in this restaurant is professional and of the highest quality. Thank you Bill for being such great host on that special day.

Always a nice location and setting of over the water restaurant. Food was good, yet quite expensive for Samoa. Portions are quite small, eg, Dips- taro or ulu chips. This item is quite expensive for quite small amount of chips($26 ST), and you can smell the oil it was cooked in, an unpleasant smell and taste. Fish and Chips was $33 for three pices of over battered fish. Pizza was one of the best I have personally have in both Samoas. Over all, service quite slow for a small area restaurant operation.

Visit again, and not disappointed. This cubby middle aged guy, sorry forgot his name, is one of the best attentive server you can experience in any restaurant. he is sooo polite, attentive and accommodating to your needs. My wife and I enjoyed our Sunday dinner here, the food is always fresh and excellent. Service is prompt and friendly. Will always patronize this place everytime we visit Apia. Poke and Fish & Chips are still the best in town.

A very pleasant evening with friends in a great spot overlooking the water. The large cocktails - woah - you have to try them! Most unusual but great fun! Had a Samoan Pie which won’t help my diet but was tasty. Service was excellent. Ideal spot for a few friends to get together and have some reasonable food and drinks at a good price.
