Our award-winning wine by Wine Spectator as one of the best wine list in Italy, is the place of worship of Bacchus, a prestigious collection of wine resting in the cellar and wine production represent the best of local, national and French.
We arrived you walk through the extensive wine cellar to the restaurant WOW breathtaking views of Lago Di Garda with the beautiful almost blue Mountains For this only, I would go back. The restaurant is elegantly authentic and service very good. Starting with an encyclopaedia of their extensive wine list which I have to confess to struggled with the amount of choice and the Somalia didn't seem to know much very good at filling your glass m. He was attentive, and pleasant as the rest of the staff. The food, well I don't know how to put this, all good quality ingredients, well thought through, typical of Michelin star. The food however was cold, and they tried too hard to be "chef fashionable". Why do they need to have a deconstructed pizza! my main Fish course again cold, the San Pietro slightly over cooked and I couldn't taste the rest of the dish. I would however compliment the additional extra such as 3 lollipops of fish and Parmesan, the 6 different types of freshly baked rolls, the salmon. I am sorry to say the food needs a re think but the rest being service and views are excellent and don't offer that amount if wine if you can't explain and recommend. Sorry harsh but true excel in your qualities !

Small restaurant located on the east coast of Lake Garda ( Torri del Benaco). Le Gemme di Artemisia offers cooking class in the morning and restaurant at the evening time with only 3 tables , therefore it is highly recommended to book it in advance. We have only tasting menus ( see on our web site). Since 2017 we have an accommodation located on the top floor of the restaurant with a stunning view to lake Garda.
A cooking class with Lara and Andrea was a fantastic treat and experience. It was a treat for my niece, but all four friends loved it. I've lived in Italy and love to cook, what better combination than a class in a beautiful Lake Garda location with absolute 5 star service and food??? Grazie a Lara e Andrea! We will return every time we are in Italy. So easy to book and truly worth every penny.

Visited this venue with two German friends, on their recommendation. To say they were disappointed is an understatement.
The waiter, although not busy, was very rushing as though we should be quicker with our order. When asked about wines from The area was, terse to almost dismissive.
We ordered and two orders were with chips (pommies) and oven potatoes. They twice sent the wrong potatoes.
He food I must say was very good, the evening ruined by the service.
They lost service for the rest of the week, mal so next year when we are revisiting Tori del Benaco.
I don't usually send negative reviews, but, I'm hoping the owner will read this.
Because the venue, food, has great potential.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here last week. We ordered pasta and fish and whilst this restaurant is a little more expensive than its neighbours, the quality is worth the extra money. The staff were good and the venue very clean with lovely views of the lake. Bookings are recommended for dinner.

Situated slightly outside of the tourist Garda area this restaurant should be in your list if you like a more posh / smarter option than down at the lake. Nice raw fish starter plates, we took half portions which was enough. Nice pasta and Deserts. Give it a go and best to book as popular.

.. we had a wonderful lunch at El Brol during easter. The food was great and the service spotless, but the most notiable thing was that the other guests was not the normal german crowed that are all over the turist spots along the shoreline.
The place was recommened to us by locals and I understand why ... if you want a great authentic lunch/dinner then It's highly recommened.

Arrived Wed 9th August and excited about going to Miralago which had favourable Reviews on Trip Advisor. My wife is an excellent cook and we regularly have lovely Pasta meals at home in Scotland.
We visit Italy every year and love the Delitsioso Pasta dishes in the Benacus Hotel.
We always go to a Trip Advisor recommended restaurant for our first taste of Italy so we selected Miralago.
My wife loves tomatoes so ordered Pasta Pomodoro.
I just love the Lasagne you only get in Italy.
The Pomodoro was "very ordinary and lacking In flavour", according to my wife.
I started my Lasagne but it was cold. I then cut it in two to taste the middle and it was even colder.
How can Italian cooks not cook Lasagne, (which is possibly their national dish)
After waiting a couple of minutes for a waiter to appear, I felt embarrassed to lift the plate of cold lasagne past all the customers and on to the kitchen.
I spoke to a waiter, the cook and two others and told them that the Lasagne was "Non Caldo" which means, "not hot".
The water said he understood and he would sort the problem.
After about 9 or ten minutes the waiter brought the "Same lasagne" but on a different plate garnished slightly different.
I knew it was the same piece of Lasagne since it was in the same two pieces I had cut.
Surely no meat dish should be reheated, twice like that in a "Quality Restaurant" !!??
Shame on you Miralago!
The Lasagne should have been really hot to prevent any contamination.
Because my wife was nearly finished her meal I ate the Lasagne but did not enjoy it.
The meal needed much seasoning with parmesan to taste.
When the bill came I asked for a discount for the cold, reheated and late Lasagne but the waitress said "We gave you another one".
I told her that they had not brought me another one but gave me the same reheated food which I had cut in half.
She waited for the bill which I paid in full but I told her that I would be reporting this poor level of service on Trip Advisor.
No tip was given!
Miralago you have not only Let Down your own name and also Torri del Benaco's reputation for fine dining restaurants but more importantly, Italy's image of quality food offered with excellent service to the customer.
You should be ashamed of yourselves Miralago!
Your actions were NOT that of a Quality Restaurant: Even a transport cafe would have treated a customer with the respect Universally expected in Italy.
I can only hope your disappointing service and practices improve on Reading this.
I , and all readers of this Review, I am sure, would appreciate an honest explanation from whoever is in charge at your establishment, so I look forward to Reading it below: If you have the bottle!

we walked VERY far in the heat along the main roads to try this number 1 Tripadvisor restaurant to be told it was closed - this was Friday afternoon at 12:00 ? A woman inside the restaurant greeted us at the door to inform us it was closed. The tables outside and inside were all set.
Tried to call the restaurant later in the afternoon since the website and tripadvisor says they are open on Friiday, to find out their phone number does not work?
Anyone who can figure this out, please let us all know?

A group of 16 of us went here recently on a stag night celebrating a wedding taking place in Torri - it was recommended by a local wedding planner. The best way to describe things is to split the review into one of food and entertainment
The food we felt was very poor. On arrival there were numerous bowls of vegetables for dips and our first course was a selection of 3 pastas in some white dishes. One was macaroni in a tomato sauce, one was a lasagne type dish and the other a rice and veg dish - they were all ok. We then had some cold meats (salami, Parma ham plus one other) with some flatbread and that was it! A lemon sorbet cleansed the pallette and we had some white wine - no red available. Limoncello and some orange vodka followed.
Some of the other groups around then started dancing and soon the owner and waiters were on the tables leading the moves to mainly Italian music which was all a bit lost on a group of English guys who were having to continually ask for drinks to make the night pass until our taxis came!
In fairness, if you want a party atmosphere for an hour or two then this maybe the place for you. If you want a decent meal it's a place to avoid and when we got a bill for 700 euros we felt a bit cheated. It's also a taxi ride out from Torri just adding more cost
