Even if it took me years to visit this restaurant again, nothing has changed especially with the quality, taste and serving portions. Still one of the best restos in Tagaytay.
I just find the live performers who visit you table annoying especially when they’re done singing and just standing beside you waiting for tip.

Mushrooms in your burger, spaghetti and fries, that's wonderfully healthy and you can have all that at Mushroomburger. When in Tagaytay, i really want to drop by and eat here. I was surprised that they have already mushroom fries, it was good. A bit of a problem is there is only one cashier to cater to a long line of customers, i hope they add some more counters.

the garden is simply charming. the ambiance of the whole place was quite relaxing and conducive for meditating. i had lunch here years ago and the dishes are amazing, especially the salad which greens are freshly picked from their own vegetable garden.
sonya’s panaderia is another story altogether. you need to get a taste of their baked goodies and be hooked forever.

Bag of Beans Cafe and Restaurant

Reviewed By sabi0james - Manila, Philippines

We were looking for a good coffee shop in the morning and found Bag of Beans, unfortunately we were told that we still have to wait to be seated because 7 others are waiting guests, so we decided to go to another place. In the afternoon we went back and was able to find a parking space and a table. Still, there are plenty of customers that we concluded that this is a really popular place in Tagaytay. Although they serve very good coffee, this is a complete restaurant with a wide variety of food choices. Although a bit on the pricey side, this restaurant is worth a visit when in Tagaytay.

Starbucks

We had our fix of dark mocha, latte and fudge cake among others. But the lines here are so long that we only get our turn to order after an hour. Yes thats how many are frantic to get iced or hot drinks , I am just not sure if it is related to the chilly environment or if it is the race to get stickers for that damn planner. Food also ran out , even the cookies and the savory stuff. Best branch however is in the area beside Country Suites.

We tried this restaurant at a recommendation of a friend but was just disappointed. I reserved thru SMS for a late lunch (or perhaps early dinner) and when I was running late, I sms'd again informing them that we will be coming in an hour after our originally scheduled reservation. When we got there, it was raining and the pebble wash stone pathway leading down to the restaurant was soaking wet and slippery. We had to make sure we went down slowly for fear that we might slip and fall down. (The restaurant should convert this into stairs as this is just an accident waiting to happen). When we got to the restaurant, there were a few diners but no one from the staff were there to greet or attend to us. I even had to ask another diner where the main dining area was as we ended up in the annex on the right side. So after a few minutes of walking around, we finally got to the main area and saw ALL the servers in the kitchen chatting, instead of the dining area where they should have been attending to the diners needs. I approached a lady who seemed to be the head waitress and told her that I was looking for this person because we made Reservations thru sms for lunch. I gave her my name and she went inside the kitchen and told this person I was looking for him. She came back after a few minutes and she told me this person was asking "IN REGARDS TO WHAT?" I found this so bizarre that me and my wife were already getting annoyed and at this point were ready to walk out and just go to Breakfast at Antonio's nearby. Anyway, we finally got a table and sat and ordered our food. I had the Italian Pork Chop which quite frankly, was just an oversized pork chop with herbs and spices and regular plain rice. I found it ordinary. My wife had the chicken casserole, which she did not even finish and had to take home. The only thing that I appreciated was that you can order wines in half a bottle (375 ml), which I think every fine dining restaurant in Metro Manila should offer to their clients. All in all we were sorely disappointed and was hoping for a much better dining experience.
