The pub is very nice, very friendly and you have loads of tv’s so you can follow matches if you want. They have a big amount of beers from the drafts. The food isn’t the best...portion size are massive and everything seems to be deep fried and then it taste disgusting. I’d like to come back in this place but only for a beer not for food.

This is one of the friendliest Dunkin drive-thrus around. They always do a good job, the coffee and food is good, and the staff is pleasant. I rarely go inside, although I've been in there a couple of times to buy lottery tickets (but that is not always open when the store is operating).

I do think this location closes a little early, because I've occasionally driven past at night and it's closed. If you're desperate for coffee late at night, there's a 24-hour Wawa a little further west on Rte. 322. This Dunkin is directly across from Exit 2 of the NJTP and very convenient as you're getting on or off. There's also a gas station attached.

Vesuvio has some of the best pizza pies we have ever tasted. The crust was crunchy and the group loved the tomato pie , the Grandmom's pizza with its thin crust topped with fresh garlic , mozzarella cheese , Parmesan cheese , oregano, olive oil , parsley and basil. We also recommend the Old World pizza with crushed plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella , basil , sea salt , and a drizzle of olive olive .The sales were also delicious with fresh ingredients. Service was friendly

Rode's Fireside Restaurant

Ate dinner here last Friday night with cousins and some friends of theirs. I was visiting from out of town. I gather they eat here often and the servers seemed to know them. We had reservations for 7 pm for a party of 6 and were seated immediately. Drink orders taken promptly. I was happy to be able to get hard cider on tap (Angry Orchard). Others mostly ordered the house white wines. One cousin recommended the jerk seasoned crab cake appetizer, so I ordered that. It was very good - spicy without overpowering the crab. This can be ordered as an entree as well. One in our party ordered crab bisque and asked for hot sauce to be brought to the table with it. Soup came but the hot sauce never appeared. He said the soup was good anyway. I ordered meatloaf with mushroom gravy. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was good and the portion was large. Another in our party ordered veal Parmesan and said it was tough. He didn't eat it or the spinach it came with. Everyone else seemed happy with their choices, ranging from a dinner salad to salmon or steak. We were all too full for dessert.

Restaurante Colosio

Staying in a hotel off Route 295 while passing through South Jersey and we wanted Mexican food for dinner. Using Trip Advisor we found this restaurant. Simple store front in the downtown area. Only four miles from the hotel. Very pleasant young ladies with great smiles waiting on tables. We had chicken fajita, chips and chili poblano. It is a BYO, no alcohol available. The food was excellent and the servings were huge.
The setting is bright and cheery. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and return the next time we are traveling through the area.

Tavro 13

Reviewed By ulysses4 - Westfield, Massachusetts

Some 260 miles from home, on a road trip, one doesn't always know what to expect. Based on Tripadvisor Reviews, a look at their website and a recommendation from our hotel, we headed to downtown Swedesboro-and we are glad we did. The restaurant is attractive, the waitstaff is friendly and competent, and most importantly, we were very pleased with our salads and lamb chops.

A large unpaved parking lot next door is quite handy.

Based on our selections, I would say the kitchen is straight forward and capable. The wine selections were a little thin, but there is a realistic effort to keep the prices reasonable.

We might have enjoyed our dinner more if there wasn't a table of 10-12 women next to us. They were good and good-natured people, but we had to refrain from much of a conversation since we would have had to yell to be heard.

The ambiance is pleasant, especially with the large faux fireplace. We would be happy to go back on a quieter night.
