Not knowing what to expect we stepped into Andre's without a reservation on a Saturday night in prime late summer to celebrate our wedding anniversary (last minute)... with three young kids in tow. The restaurant was beautiful and we felt underdressed but only for a moment. The hostess was incredibly gracious and somehow managed to fit our family of five in at a very spacious table. Not seeing a kids menu we got concerned but they gladly offered to price any dish based on the kids ages and let the two older ones share a pasta. The servings were so large I thought they must have just given each of them a full plate anyhow! The kids loved the Caesar salad and veggie pasta; we LOVED the beef bourguignon and their hallmark schnitzel. The service though was the standout. So warm and attentive. The food came so fast (and with kids that was very appreciated). Can't recommend Andre's highly enough!

My friend and I are in Southhampton every 2 weeks and for lunch, this is our go to place. The atmosphere is a typical pub style but the moment you walk in you feel at home and very comfortable. Whether it is your first time or 20th time, you are treated like family.
Fast service, some food dishes take longer than others to make but it is well worth it!

Good atmosphere if you are looking for pub food. The fish and chips are very good...food is cooked well, wait staff are friendly, quick service.
If you are going in the summer eat on the patio... interior is dark and well not very nice.
Good prices, portions are perfect...
You won't have a bad meal but nothing special either...

Open late for KARAOKE Every Friday in the summer! Live Bands EVERY Saturday night! Check website for details. We're a seasonal restaurant open part time throughout "Off Season" and open full time through out "Summer Season"! Come for a relaxed and casual lunch or dinner experience. We specialize in fish and seafood but also have a lot of other popular options made fresh everyday. Try our fresh cut fries! We have something for everyone! Take out is available. We are licensed and we have air conditioning and free wifi. We're at the end of High Street, close to the beach. See you down here!
The first night we tried to eat there, the sign said open but the door was locked and everything in the dark. We tried again and found it open. Good fish and chips, the only complaint was that there wasn't enough coleslaw, as it was so good. Husband had the Shepard's pie, which was ok, but nothing to rave about.
Excellent Fish and Chips.

A few years ago, CBC Ontario Morning Radio Show asked listeners to name the best place for french fries in Ontario. Although there were many serious contenders, Gerry's Fries was named the winner. These are still today, some of the very best french fries you can find in all of Ontario. Perfectly cooked time after time. Unless you have a humongous appetite, always order the small size. More than enough for the average adult. It is always fun to see the look on the faces of newcomers who order and receive a large size - enough to feed a fairly good sized family! The biggest problem lately with this restaurant is determining if it will be open. If it is too cold - they close. If it is too windy - they close. If it rains - they close. If it gets too warm in the kitchen - they close. So it is really hit and miss on whether they will actually be open when you arrive. Pity. Gerry's was always open in the summer come rain or come shine when Faye owned it. Even back in the days when it was located on the Port Elgin main beach before it relocated to Southampton. When they are open, they still serve up the very best fries in Ontario.

We Make Gourmet Pizza! The dough is made fresh daily, NEVER FROZEN! All sauces made in house, and the chicken, beef and sausage are oven roasted on Site!!
got a slice which was quite good but only comes with a pepperoni topping, would be nice if there was more choice

Went to the Enchanted Fusion for dinner on Fri. night...it was fabulous!!. The selection is great and the menu extensive. We had enough to take home for the next day, as the servings are very generous. Service is excellent....We would definitely recommend this place.
One comment that was made, was the out side is not welcoming....It has been repainted but doesn't make you want to stop there ...the inside if fabulous all re-done...but outside-- well it could use a re-do...My son said he wouldn't have wanted to stop there judging by the outside.
We have been numerous times and the food is Never disappointing!!!!!!!

Lord Elgin Fish & Chips is a family owned business that opened in Port Elgin in 1980. In March 2013 we were voted as 2nd best fish & chips in Canada, by Canadian Living Magazine. We specialize in hand cut halibut and fresh cut fries, or all you can eat haddock Mondays and Tuesdays.
Had the halibut and chips. Perfect.
Delicious fries - obviously freshly cooked (not pre-fried or fried and sitting waiting for an order). Crispy with tender inside.
Halibut - not greasy, perfect batter, dense and white, high quality halibut.Came to the table hot and freshly cooked!!!
Both halibut and fries were generous servings.
Homemade tartar sauce - fabulous. All condiments on the table (no need to ask or go looking for ketchup or malt vinegar. Lemon with the fish.
Coleslaw - we split a side which was more than enough for 2. Delicious
Service - friendly, fast and organized.
They know their stuff here.
Price was in line with what I expect for halibut and chips and top-notch quality!

I've been coming to Southampton since I was a child and had never tried The Lighthouse. Finally tried it on a Monday morning for breakfast. Good food! Really good pancakes. Service was ok. Fair prices. The lady who owns the place was quite nice too.
