Well Reading on reviews of places in Siguenza tuos restaurant seemed to suit is best. And we got it right! Not far away from our hotel,and brilliantly close to the old square. Value wise it's not cheap, but then every where in Siguenza isnt cheap in my opinion. Any way, for a good portion of good well cooked and well served plate of food go here! However be aware the plates are typically spanish, so dont count on any accompanying vegetables or anything else on the side. That bit kind of let ot down for us.

Stayed at this lovely, refurbished medieval property and had a superb meal here as well. Easily accessible by train from Madrid. Hotel is within walking distance from train station and all major sites in Siguenza. Staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Chef Enrique has worked with some of the top chefs in Spain and serves up delicious traditional fare with modern twists and excellent wine pairings. Cooking classes are also available.

It Is 100 meters from the Parador Nacional, in the heart of Old Town City of Doncel.<br>It is a restaurant with Medieval decoration.<br>We celebrate group meals, business and Family Events.<br>Do not fence the city without going through our restaurant and try our crumbs, BBQ, beef and our rich volcanic rock Drunk ......<br>Les hope.<br>We close by relaxing Sunday night to Thursday. Open Friday and Saturday all day and Sunday Noon.<br>For groups and companies we open weekdays by reservation.

This friendly establishment has so many things going for it that at least a couple of visits during the typical short visit to Siguenza make it a must.
Here they are:
1. Friendly, attentive service in the bar - even though the place was packed, we were still treated like a couple of regulars
2. Tasty vermouth off the tap, served with a sardine topped canape
3. The "paletilla de cordero rellena de jamon" - the ham stuffed leg of lamb
4. The homemade cheese cake, coated is a caramel type glaze, that absolutely melts in your mouth
5. Amazing price/quality ratio

We had lunch here in a Sunday and the place was heaving. Prices were a little more reasonable than the Parador and the more expensive restaurants up the hill. The starter of mushroom pasta in a creamy sauce was particularly good. Bacalao Rioja style was ok. The coffee was absolutely superb.

During our trip across Spain it was hard to find nicely cooked and we were getting fed up with tourist food. We were delighted with the restaurant at Parador and the prices were not unreasonable for nicely cooked quality food. We dined here on both nights of our short stay. We ordered from the 3 course set menu which offered a big choice, at 34 Euros pp plus the additional cost for drinks. The entree of vegetable lasagne on a bed of fresh creamy tomato sauce was perfection, the back strap of beef on a bed of potato was juicey, the pork cheeks in sauce filling and tasty, the dessert of cake soaked in liquor with chocolate sauce was divine and so was the light almond lemony dessert. At last, decent good food cooked with love. The wine selection is good too. We found the head waiter and all the staff very friendly and helpful, and service was provided with a smile.
We appreciate quality food and we found it here, thank you Parador for the love you put into every bite. The 3 course meal was far too much food for us. On the second night we couldn't manage all 3 courses again, so we ordered 1 set menu of 3 courses and 1 main meal. They are happy for you to share food and this was a good option as we
shared an entree and dessert but both had separate main dishes. A great experience in a Castle dining by candlelight, feeling like royalty.

We visited Siguenza on what turned out to be an exceptionally cold and rainy day, so the trip was somewhat of a letdown. We had a very nice time in taberna seguntina, however. Service was cheerful and prompt even with the language barrier, and the food, especially the roast lamb, was very good.

I hunted this place down on a side street filled with usually closed suspect local food joints. This place Nothing special. Hole in wall. Displayed tapas unappealing. Uncomfortable setting. I guess your desperate hungry then dive in.
The Parador bar comfy, cheap wine and snacks in the super neat castle as the only respectable alternative we found.

A lovely bar in the historic part of Siguenza. Features a variety of wonderful and unusual tapas. Site of a tavern for hundreds of years. The bar has a super atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful-what more could one ask for? Five stars!!!

Agree with all the positive reviews on this site.We had one of the tasting menus.The food was well presented and delicious although my wife wasn't keen on one course but I loved them all .Lovely setting in Casa del Doncel.Service very good.Price very reasonable for this Michelin standard food.If you're in Siguenza and love fine dining give it a try.Doubt you'll be disappointed
