大阪府堺市の住宅街にある穴子鮨の専門店です。
お昼時になると車で買いに来る人がひっきりなしに訪れます。持ち帰り専用なので、その場で食べたい場合は店の前の椅子を借りましょう。
穴子のにぎりと押し鮨を購入しましたが、クオリティが高く人気の程が伺えます。ふんわりとした食感で、軽い食べ口でどんどん食べてしまいます。
観光で訪れると不便な場所にありますが、訪れる価値はあります。

堺東駅から商店街の小路を入った場所にあるカツ丼の専門店です。カウンターのみの小さな店ですが、特に昼時は満席になるほどの人気。カツは揚げたてでおいしく、値段も安かったです。

They have one dish, a dessert that is eaten plain (in the winter) or with shaved ice (in the summer). The recipie is a family secret, and has been that way for hundreds of years. They are basically open (for the day) until they run out. Then they close. So, closing time is a 'moving target'. I'm always amazed at how they don't care about their customers. You go up to the register to order and pay. They give you a number, and you go find a seat. It's up to you to pay attention, as they call out your number. They won't seek you out. many have tried to copy their recipie, but none come close. It's unique and tasty.

One of 2 'traditional dessert' places in Sakai City (the other, I just reviewed). This one is much more customer friendly. Their 'signature dessert' is their version of daifuku mochi (mochi cakes with azuki inside). They have one that covered in sesame seeds, and the other one has cinnamon mixed into the mochi. They're worth a try, since those version are only available in this one place. They also have a cafe on the premises - so you can try them with tea, before purchasing a box.

夜10時から回転する天ぷらの店です。揚げたての天ぷらが楽しめます。ここは貝汁を天ぷらとオーダーするのが名物です。貝殻を床に落として良い。椅子から降りるときには要注意です。

Delicious food. Menu is in english, so there is no struggling with choosing and ordering the food.
Regarding the drinks, i recommend to try their red house wine.
The bill for five of us was approximately 50 000 ¥, however we ate plenty of food.
Steaks are great.

It is easy to find Yakiniku ya (Grilled meat restaurant) everywhere in Japan. However that doesn't mean everywhere is good place :)
Yakiniku Shokyuen is one of the most delicious Yakiniku in Saikai city, Osaka.
Good taste, good atmosphere and good service.
You should try reimen (cold noodle) also.

関西でもコメダ珈琲店が認知され出したので意外と混んでいて諦めることも多くなりました。
コーヒーも他のチェーン店に比べてもややお高い。でもコーヒーと一緒にもらえる豆菓子や小倉トーストなどの名古屋めしメニューに木目の店内に割りと柔らか目の赤い椅子に身を委ねると時が過ぎるのを忘れてしまう。

お墓参りの帰りに家族のうち3人でランチに行きました。テラスっぽい席は日が適度に差し明るくいい雰囲気です。料理は2人が日替わりランチ、私は四万十ポークのカツレツです。それぞれサラダとスープ、ドリンク、焼きたてパン食べ放題かライスがセット。メイン料理も美味しいです。パンも種類豊富、サラダもたくさん入ってます。これで3人で4,033円でした。是非リピートしたいです。
