Puerto Maldonado (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpweɾto maldoˈnaðo]) is a city in southeastern Peru in the Amazon rainforest 55 kilometres (34 mi) west of the Bolivian border; located at the confluence of the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers, the latter of which joins the Madeira River as a tributary of the Amazon. It is the capital of the Madre de Dios Region.

We ate lunch and dinner here after our flight was cancelled and the airline provided meals for our stay in Puerto Maldonado. This place was a pleasant surprise. There was a salad bar at lunch that was included in the meal. There were vegetarian options...MoreWe´re glad you enjoyed your visit! We´re sorry the desserts weren´t available on this occasion. Hopefully you can return and try them in the future

This is an excellent little restaurant in Puerto Maldonado. We went for lunch and were very impressed with the options, it also caters well for vegetarians. While we were in Puerto Maldonado the it always seemed busy and popular with locals. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Worth a visit!

We thought the garlic bread (free) and pizza were delicious. The ravioli was a little watery and could have been drained better but was otherwise very tasty. The wine jug seemed to be never ending! The service was prompt and friendly. Only thing we didn't like was that there was a cat roaming through the restaurant and that always makes me think of poor hygiene. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.

This place is located in the highway that connects cuzco and Puerto Maldonado. We stopped here about one hour before reaching Puerto Maldonado as it looked like anice place to eat dinner. Though the place was very nice we it had a huge turndown for us. In the menu they served "Picuro" which is a wild animal in the rainforest, and we are very much in favor of convservation so we didnt like this. Besides that, the place was nice

We twice had dinner here, good food at reasonable prices. Very tasty soups, good chicken entrees. Expect to pay less than 15 dollars for a dinner for two. Quite uncomfortable chairs do not invite lingering.

a fine restaurant in a small jungle town. not many places improve with age in the jungle--but this is one of them. Clean environment, nice restroom, well-trained wait crew, fishermen--they will cook up your daily catch. The chefs here know their stuff. They serve a great brocheta mixta and some great fruit juices. They also have a $4 lunch menu that is hard to beat. Sometimes its difficult to flag down your waiter if you need something after being served.
Also, large meeting rooms are available to rent for events and dinners.
