The restaurant is located on the banks of the River Weser with lovely views of the surrounding country side. Obviously a very popular place with the local inhabitants since the night we went (without a reservation) they were packed catering for two separate group events. As a result the menu was basically limited and we did not really have a choice.......schnitzel, which is pretty standard in Germany. They went out of their way to be helpful and were quite prepared to ensure that my schnitzel was 'gluten free'.
Staff courteous and helpful and considering they were so busy the service was excellent.
There is outdoor Seating as well for summer purposes.
For 2 people, including 3 glasses of wine, desert and tea/coffee the cost was euro47.30, which is very reasonable.

Obviously a very popular place and certainly for weekend breakfast/brunch a reservation is necessary! First visit was just to have a coffee and snack which was good and I was able to get some gluten free soup, not bread/cakes, however. The second visit was for a late lunch and I was able to get a gluten free snack in the way of baked potato with cheese, which was very good. According to my husband they have some good beer on the menu as well! Staff, on both occasions, very friendly, courteous and helpful. They also serve a good hot chocolate as well as coffee!

Stopped by as it was recommended in TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed and thank you again TripAdvisor for the tip. This was much better than what I had found myself. I had caprese for starter and a tortellini alla panna. See pictures for look. Thank you

Wir genossen ein Buffetangebot. Es war wirlich alles da, von der Vorsuppe über diverse Hauptgerichte bis zur Nachspeise. Und es hat geschmeckt !!

The Platon restaurant offers a nice variety of well prepared Greek food. The owner couple is very friendly and always have a good suggestion for a meal.
I simply like the Greek starter plate and the Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts is always worth a sin. In summer the beer garden is also very nice to sit.
The Platon is a nice place to have a relaxed evening with some quite authentic food. Around weekend or for outside sitting a reservation is recommended.

Ein kleines Restaurant, aber nett eingerichtet in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Bei gutem Wetter kann man im Innenhof auch auch unter freiem Himmel speisen.
Das Essen sieht aber leckerer aus als es schmeckt, denn es fehlt einiges an Würze. Ist aber wahrscheinlich angepasst an eher konservatives würzen, daher ist man schon etwas enttäuscht, wenn man es mit ähnlichen Gerichten in Spanien selbst vergleicht. Dennoch insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Ein idealer Ort für einen Ausflug in Sommer wie in Winter. Super Gartenanlage und ein schönes Interieur. Der Service ist zuvorkommend, Guter Kaffee und exzellenter Kuchen runden Alles perfekt ab.
