A nice spot to dine. Above average in price not necessarily reflected on the plate but the meal was good. The bar can be a fun place to hang out in the evenings.

Bøkekroa is idyllically situated in Norway's biggest beech-tree forest. A most beautiful, tranquil place, specially in Summer, when one can sit under the natural canopies, enjoying nice food, delicious cakes, etc. Ask for the Budapest cake with mandarin - it's probably one of Norway's best!

Nice restaurant with good food and serviced minded waiter. Half our group had to wait a very long time for their food to arrive (pizzas). The waiter had warned us that pizzas could take some time, but I feel that the restaurant should try to improve on this point.

I love that place, I visited two days ago and I couldn't imagine how good it was. The decoration is very cute, the service polite and the pizza incredible!
I'm sure I will advise that place to my friends and I will come back again. If you are seeking a place to eat, go to "Det Gule Galleriet".

Nice atmosphere despite the strangeness of being an Indian restaurant in a typical Norwegian hytte-looking locale. I got some nice and fresh garlic naan, my lamb dish was pretty good but should have had more spicyness to it (I asked for "hot").

The decor and ambiance was like a Chinese restaurant from the movies. It had a cozy atmosphere and the food was also really good. We had fried rice, noodles, shrimp and fried vegetables. We highly recommend this place. It's by far the best Chinese restaurant we've eaten in since moving to Norway 3.5 years ago.

I was travelling through Larvik and wanted a nice meal, which I found in Passatore. The food did indeed remind me of Italy, and service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and intimate with relaxing decor. I'd like to try ti for a proper evening's meal with good wine - and possibly on an evening when there is operatic song to be heard?

If the real peace of meat for dinner is your only option, this is the right place! I have visited the place on numerous occasions, and never been disappointed! These guys always deliver! Besides the steak dishes they serve some local food like mountain deer, depends on season! Always very friendly, attentive stuff! There is a good choice of wines to keep your steak a good company!

We stayed one night in Farris Bad and went out for dinner to Pica Pica after serfing a while on tripadvisor.
And that was a place that exceeded my expectations for 200%! I have never received such a friendly service anywhere! Very easy going place with hight tables and hight chairs, bar, and big Terrace. Great food and cocktails.
Owner were hosting us and gave us great feeling of being at home. I was suffering with allergy for polen, and after mentioning that he just drove me to petrol station to buy a nasal spray! That never happened to me in Norway or anywhere else!!!
Cheery on top of the cake was a fire outside on Terrace as sun went down, so we finished our drinks at the atmosphere that totally blown us away from Oslo and even Farris Bad)
Lovely!
We will come back :)
