We arrived early to make sure we could get a table, this is a very popular place and we found out why. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the price very reasonable.

Right at the bay, sometimes windy at the seaside.
Nice menu, different kinds of dishes.
Starters are Greec and very nice. Friendly waiters who know their languages.
Our pastitio was wonderful, soft and spiced.
The chorta greens were delicious, just like the octopus souvlaki.
Selana rose wasn't as sweet and fruity as we hoped for but that's the only thing we missed!

Outside lunch on the pebbles of the beach. As many here saud earlier..waiting may take a bit. Grilled sardines ok. Lamb Kleftiko ok. But what made us both run for the toilet after 20 minutes?

Very peaceful atmosphere right on the beach. Tastefully decorated in calming colours and quiet music in the background. Just right to day dream watching the waves.

As they both came from the fishtavern field they knew the aspects they should concentrate on good food, warm atmosphere and reasonable prices. The fishtavern started operating in 2008 aiming to satisfy each and every desire of its customers as far as fish is concerned. Kalamies owes its success mainly to the constant presence of the owners, who lead the two teams of cooking and serving. Guests may select to eat the fish which includes 24 different plates, try one of the delicious selections such as the kalamari (squid) fried or make a selection of fish and seafood demonstrated in the fridge gallery. The variety and quality of the food selection can satisfy even the most demanding customers. During our week long stay in Kokkari we ate here all but two nights. Not only was the food delicious and reasonably priced, but the warm welcome from the staff made us feel like family. We enjoyed the greek salad, calamari, fried aubergine, tzatziki, pita, baked feta, and kabob politica.

Nice Terrace on the water.
Starters: we choosed Greec salad and shrimps with tomatoes and 4 kinds of cheese.
Salad was good as (mostly) always, shrimps were top! Sauce full of herbs and wonderful taste.
Main dishes: pork souvlaki and pork chop. Souvlaki was very good and already of the hook. Pork chop was grilled and good taste. Unfortunately the french fries were week. Oil not on temperature, Casa?
House wine was ok.
Desert from the house: choose cheese pie or water melon. It was a big piece!
Total price for 3: 44 euro

We ended up here for a dinner after a long day at the beach. First of all the owner and the people working there are very warm, kind and friendly and they all speak very good English. We ordered different dishes and all of them extremely delicious. This was s weekend trip and we will definitely come back to Samos again and certainly to Mythos for great food and very warm people.

This restaurant has a beautiful sea view and staff is very friendly.
We had a fishermann's spaghetti and a rigatoni 4 cheeses, best meals we ate during our one week stay in Samos. (And we visited a lot of other restaurants)
We highly recommend this place!
