This is a very authentic (and proud of it) restaurant. The food is very good, huge portions, and super friendly and present staff. The atmosphere is old styled and relaxed. We are definately coming back, and to push it, we're considering doing out wedding here!

I adore sweet water fish and one of my very favourite is the Hungarian fisherman's soup. So whenever I hop over to Hungary I make sure I sample some of this unique dish. Although every region has a slightly different style, this dish maintains similar characters throughout the country. The one in Potyka is definitely one of the very best. It had just enough onion, cooked to the point, just enough paprika and the carp was really delicious! At that time I stayed in Pecs for 2 days. Pellérd is only 10 kms to the South of this beautiful city. I visited Potyka on my first day with friends, and I liked it so much that I went back for some more the next day.

We did 4 tastings and had one of the selection of the winery. Wow! That's it... speechless. If you do 4+ tasting you can have a tour of the cellar. We did it while having our amazing wine. I liked it. It was nice to talk with our guide, but do not expect anything special. The atmosphere is lovable, and the sourrounding is beautiful. While you do your tastings they can provide you with some snacks, but no warm food. So be careful... not good for lunch. Winery closes at 6pm, so better to go well advance. Enjoy!

Suggested vintage stlye place near Siklos region, where you can drink super coffie, home made lemonade, and the regions well known wines. They also offer home made cookies, special chocolates, macaron etc.Thank you very much! Köszönjük értékelését!

We tried to visit it several times but the place was always full, unfortunately. One night we could finally get a table there, and we weren't disappointed. The waiter was really professional and kind, and the food was tasty. They had gluten free and paleo dishes as well, next to the Hungarian dishes. I was in several restaurants in the city, and this one was the best. I can recommend them!

keine allzu große Auswahl (imApril), aber sehr schmackhaftes Eis, das als riesengroße "Kugel" für 200 HUF auf die Tüte kommt, oder auch in einen Plastikbehälter, weil zwei Kugeln viel zu groß für eine Waffeltüte wären. Wir hatten dunkle Schokolade, Vanille mit Orange und Schokostückchen, Heidelbeere, alle sehr lecker.

Ehetünk kiváló menüt, és pizzát is ebben az étteremben. A berendezés hangulatos, megközelíthetősége kiváló, hisz a főutcán van.A környék legfinomabb pizzáját itt ehetjük.

Our friends live about 25km from Siklos and The Station Hotel (Vasuti Vedego) is one of our favourite places. We visit Hungary regularly and ver fail . I ticked "cheap Eats" in the price category as you can get the two course lunch for 900Ft (less than £3) and we often have this, Great portions and the schnitzel with cheesy mash and cabbage one of my favourites. If you go for the A La Carte menu expect about £12 each with drinks for three courses. If we can we sit outside but also interesting inside and a plus that they employ Roma people too. Portions are huge (see picture) Not sure why we didn't give it five but probably lost just a little on food quality compared to our best experiences in Hungary but having said that great value, excellent staff and ambience and still one of our favourites.

We took the kids here based on the recommendation of our Hotel staff and it was fine. To be honest I expected better ice creams, and note this place only accepts cash, so no credit cards here yet. Apart from that the cakes we tried were good in a 4 star way, the place was clean and service was good.
