Got a take away based on other reviews as the restaurant certainly doesn't look inviting from outside. Food was appalling Bombay potatoes were raw naan breads burnt and everything with far to much salt tasted everything then threw it all in the bin, very disappointing and never to return

MAITRE RESTAURATEUR. Traditional French Restaurant, Quiet and friendly place with terrasse. Very complete menu, french cuisine home made. We are not in the old city. Welcome.

This place is rated high..I was expected a great experience in terms of food and service...instead it was really average compared to the price paid for the meal! Moreover wine was terrible...How is it possible to be so well rated? Barely I give 3 stars out of 5! NOT WORTH IT!

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely meal with great service and excellent choices. My partner had Thai barbecued ribs with Thai vegetables and I ordered Pad Thai. My partner had to leave to handle something we forgot before taking a table so the food ended up being slightly cool by the time he arrived. The owner / manager asked if we wanted it removed but of course, we declined. It was our own fault. When my partner returned, we enjoyed the meal tremendously. His ribs were perfect and the Thai vegetables were exactly the right side. My Pad Thai was tasty; I felt it was lacking a citrus note so asked for a lime. I was offered a juicy lemon instead and it added what was lacking in citrus flavour. We enjoyed the entire experience and will certainly try to return before we leave Golfe Juan.

Expected better dishes. Location was interesting. Staff was polite and efficient. Dishes were satisfactory and prices were ok. Reputation did not match execution. Perhaps better on another day. Perhaps management needs to review marketing. Wine list was average, tasty dishes, good location and nice staff.

We tried this restaurant on the closing night of Cafe Llorca, which we liked a lot (see my review). Cafe du coin is situated on another little square of Vallauris, which was cosy. Unlike cafe llorca, it does not have a (free) valet service and there's not much parking space around. We were kindly welcomed and presented with the dishes of that night. Although we liked what we had, we felt that the food was much less refined than at cafe llorca, but the prices were similar. Our initial impression after our dinner here was not bad although we both agreed we preferred cafe llorca. Unfortunately I got quite sick a few hours later, which was clearly due to the fish I had that night unfortunately. So all in all not a great experience and we therefore did not go back. We can highly recommend cafe llorca at Vallauris and l'amandier de Mougins a Mougins though!

This restaurant is near some new flats, amongst a few shops.
It is very much a family business, the cook (lady cook) came out of her kitchen to greet us and advise us on what to eat, she also came to see us after the meal to make sure we were happy.
The service was efficient.
The food was delicious.
When the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view.
Worth a visit; it makes a change from the expensive and mediocre food served on the coast!
I booked a table on the net and got a 20 per cent discount!

We organized a 9 person lunch with late start due to ceremony and with some key dietary requirements. The staff was extremely service oriented and friendly and all went perfectly. Food was great, wine too (recommend the Bellet). Definitely an excellent recommendation

The Vegetarian menu was fantastic. Professional, quite, and romantic ambiance. The chef speaks with all guests and it is clear that no short cuts are taken in the food preparation. The waitresses gave me detailed information about the cheeses that I was served, I'd love to come back with my husband. I highly recommend this restaurant which is not in a busy, tourist street, but rather located in a quite street.

Strolled along in the marina and popped in to Le Cabane. never been there -not heard of it. What a pleasant surprise !Just by the jetty with a good view over the marina. We were Well and pleasant taken care of by the staff and served the most delicious Aioli .The cod cooked to perfection presented on a bed of vegetables . Highly recommended . We will get back to this pleasant and high quality place .

With four for dinner, 1 vegan, 1 veggie and two meaties, it could have been a cross-category challenge. It wasn't. A combination of mixed meze, yummy meatballs and various aubergine formats yielded four happy diners. Installed outdoors on the port side and warmed by the setting sun, all was good with the world.
