we ended up here for lunch having had a walk around town. My partners pork fillet and chips seemed to be ok but the veggie "omlette" was filled with sprouts which was pretty vile. the croquettes were ok but with mushrooms in a sea of cream - not good. the food at our hotel was better which is a shame.

Der Atila Grill ist ein typischer arabisch-türkischer Imbiss. Hervorzuheben ist natürlich der klassische Döner, der hier sehr gut schmeckt. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, der Laden ist sauber und die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich, was ja oft in Dönerläden nicht der Fall ist.
Auch die anderen Snacks, vor allem Falafel, sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es Softdrinks und weitere Kleinigkeiten.
Es sind Sitzplätze vorhanden, man kann die Speisen aber auch zum Mitnehmen bestellen.
Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

This place was almost full where other restaurants did not have so many guest at that time. Typical Italian dishes. Nice waitress with good service. I opted for a tomato soup, ok but nothing special, then I took the spaghetti Michelle, which was delicious. together with 2 beers I had a very good dinner. Prices are very friendly as well. Would go back if again in Bad Bevensen.

Das Eiscafé Fontanella ist ein typisches Eiscafé, sticht aber durch sein sehr gutes Eis hervor, welches noch selber vom Inhaber zubereitet wird. In andern Eiscafés werden oft Fertigmischungen mit Milchpulver benutzt, dies ist hier nicht der Fall und das schmeckt man auch, das Eis ist wirklich sehr lecker. Es gibt auch ein paar Diabetiker-Eissorten und auch der Kaffee und die Eisshakes sind sehr zu empfehlen.Sehr zu empfehlen sind das Spargeleis, Bananasplit und das Spaghetti-Eis.
Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen, um sein Eis zu genießen, oder sein Eis mitnehmen, entweder in der Waffel oder im Becher.
Die Preise sind nicht niedrig, aber das Eis ist eben auch sehr lecker, daher zahle ich es gerne.
Das Café wird seit vielen Jahren von einer Familie betrieben, die alle sehr freundlich und immer zu einem Scherz aufgelegt sind.

The lucky ones, that's who.
We weren't looking for Greek, just for dinner and walked by a woman sitting in an outdoor cafe eating what looked like an amazing salad. It was.
It was actually a plate of 3 types of hummus, olives, assorted veggies, some cheese and I don't remember what all else.
My husband ordered lamb, it's something we don't eat at home because I don't like lamb. At least I didn't like lamb until last week.
The plate came piled with baby lamb chops, basically very little seasoning but cooked to perfection. They smelled so good, I had to try a bite. Good thing it was a big salad because after the first couple of bites, I needed something that I could barter with for a whole lamb chop.
If they could do that with a salad and a baby lamb chop, I can only imagine what they might do with other things.
I enjoyed the over filled, everything in it's corner and lots of corners decor of the place too. There was a charming little water color on the wall by our table that was actually quite good. Great food at a decent price with decent art. I'd love to go back to Bad Bevensen and if I do, I'll eat there.
I have no idea if they accept Reservations or how many $ I should give this, dinner ran around 30 Euros.

We had a very nice dinner here while in Bad Bevensen. The lamb chops were sensational. Rest was good too. Service was excellent too. Definitely recommend.

Die Auswahl an selbstgebackenen Kuchen ist klasse. Dazu einen selbstgerösteten frischen Kaffee, mehr braucht man nicht für einen gelungenen Nachmmittag. Preis-Leistung ist absolut ok. Bei einem Aufenthalt in Bad Bevensen sollte man dieses gemütlich eingerichtete Café auf jeden Fall besuchen.

Very friendly staff with excellent English translated the menu for me and were very patient with my total lack of German. The food was fresh, tasty and portions were very generous. The restaurant is bright and clean. Overall enjoyable and great value for money.
