With only 44 suites and villas, the intimately-sized Centara Chaan Talay Resort & Villas Trat offers the experience of tropical, relaxing living. This four-star resort backs onto a river and an untouched jungle to one side and a 400-metre stretch of white sand to the other, and with a comprehensive range of facilities including a spa, a large ocean-facing swimming pool, and complimentary water sports, it has something for everyone. At a minimum of 58 square metres, the suites and villas are generously-sized and designed with a bright, tropical décor. Each features a spacious balcony or terrace and an airy living room. Guests can also enjoy the option of an outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the untamed vegetation or the beach which is dotted by Casuarina trees. The resort is also home to one restaurant and one bar. Trat Airport and the pier where boats to Koh Chang depart from are a convenient one-hour drive from the resort while Bangkok can be reached in about five hours by road.

Reviewed By serchi613906An honest feed back from recent visit at the hotel. I like your hotel. However, disappointed with overall condition of the hotel as it looks and feel run down. Obviously, refurbishment id required and should have been carried out during Covid 19 outbreak.

Quiet Calm Hideaway
Reviewed By DrewW351This secluded private ocean side property hides on a coastal islet which has to be reached by a short walk through a quaint fishing village which probably hasn't changed much in a hundred years. My wife & I enjoyed strolling around the village daily to watch all the activity going on. You then enter the property surrounded by tall palm trees and dense mangrove jungle and can forget the whole world exists outside. The Thai style bungalows are comfortable and private with good aircon, surrounding a secluded pool. For a quiet eco-friendly relaxation break away from it all this place absolutely fits the bill. What makes it exceptional is the host Chin, a friendly Thai gentleman with fluent English and extensive overseas experience and his fabulous on-site Thai restaurant, cooking fresh local produce and seafood to surpass guest's every request..! We didn't want to leave..

Simple beachfront with great service

They looked after us really well and helped our departure as well as lending us a phone charger while we were there. Bungalows are simple but pleasant- we had a tree in our bathroom growing through the roof! Pillows super uncomfortable though. The beach bar is cool with swings and great tunes. It’s not the best beach - but that’s all relative. It is pretty and safe. There is a bbq each evening and the grilled fish was delicious with a fantastic dressing. And it’s a great location from the pier where you arrive and for other shops, restaurants and resorts

Good value, a little difficult to get to places
Reviewed By YoureMyWonderwallWe stayed there for one night before heading to Koh Mak next day. We arrived around half 3 in the afternoon and there was no one in the reception for around 20 minutes. I had to ring the number given on Booking.com website, only then they sent someone to check us in. However, all the staff were very polite and very helpful. The location was nice but there was no public transport so it was difficult to get to the local market or Trat city but they dropped us off at the local market for free and also helped arranged for a minivan for the next day. Their breakfast was nothing special but it was free with the room rate.
