Reviewed By teet731I have been here with my family. This is our first trip after Covid and this is also the first time we have been here. The owner is very nice and friendly. He shows us the firefly at night. Even though it is not their season we still see quite a number of them hang around the trees near the canal. All in all, the place is very suited to people who are enjoy a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Reviewed By Joyful_G_C_ChanHelpful and friendly staff. Family run enterprise. Very quiet and relaxing resort. Chalet room is very small but suffices for an overnight stay. Near Meklong railway market. Simple breakfast is provided and ample place for parking.

Awesome views from my room #15, excellent room , ambiance and excellent customer service. I enjoyed the free bike and their useful map as I spent hours riding from the resort to few places, temples, floating markets and unseen Thailand place which not too far from the resort too. I would recommend everyone travelling to Thailand and want to find a nice place not too far from Bangkok and stay overnight here at asita eco resort.

The most charming hotel at the Maeklong River
Reviewed By Coastal809372The hotel is located on the Maeklong river in the charming Ampawa district and it has both garden rooms (bungalows) in a very tropical setting and also some rooms with river view. Go for the river view rooms as they offer you the most fantastic view at a small extra cost. The hotel is probably more aimed at conferences and large celebrations than at individual tourists but the location makes up for this feeling. Rooms are very clean and in order and the basic amenitites like soap, shampoo and drinking water are available. The breakfast is okay but everything from fried eggs to noodles were cold when we were there. The breakfast room is nothing special but you can take your breakfast to the restaurant by the river. The restaurant has a very large menu and the food we had was tasty and fresh. You can rent a bicycle at the hotel and the roads in the Ampawa area are pretty safe to drive - at least compared to other places in Thailand. In the morning at 6.00 to 6.30, the monks from the nearby temple come by boat to get food at the hotel pier. You can buy a tray of food from the hotel and offer food yourself - around 100 baht. A very peaceful and nice moment in a hectic world which can be seen from the balcony of the river rooms. We really recommend this hotel for the fantastic location, clean rooms and very nice staff.

Reviewed By Orits1When arriving, we were amazed by the beautiful blooming plants and flowers. It's all so green everywhere! The hosts are so nice and kind, they drive you to the floating market and back at any time you choose, that's part of their regular service, and when we planned a travel for the next day which was a little complex logistically - the whole team gathered to think and discuss possible solutions. They made some phone calls and in the end found a good and inexpensive solution for us. This place is really authentic, also breakfast was (and very good by the way). The only downside, really the only one, was the mattresses. They were so hard, as if you sleep on a board...Part of the authenticity I guess...

Ce qui nous avons fait. Les chambres sont simples mais propres. Terrasse agréable sur la rivière pour le petit déjeuner.

Value for Money, Foreigners Friendly
Reviewed By Troy LTime for a weekend away exploring from Bangkok, car loaded up with no where to stay. After exploring around Ratchaburi area we used Trip Advisor to find a bed for the night. This hotel appeared. Located in a great place, local markets across the road and soem great seafood restaurants near the hotel. Staff are friendly and the room was clean. Only negative comment were the beds were quite hard, not alot of softness or comfort on them. Still I managed to have a good sleep. Breakfast was very Thai local, something foreigners need to experience and enjoy. Ate far too many of the Thai sweets for breakfast! Will be back to explore again.
