Reviewed By RusholmeThis resort is really secluded and tranquil - although close enough to get around by car. We made the trip from Cagliari by car in 50 mins and returned for a day trip later in our stay. Our room was great - on the second floor of the main block with a great balcony and view out over the countryside and towards the sea. The pool areas are great, two pools with an array of sun loungers. The barman who served us was so friendly and professional (a highlight of our stay) and was happy to suggest & make cocktails for us while we relaxed by the pool. We were also served olives, crisps and the biggest capers we've ever seen. The main pool is pretty deep. The breakfast at the resort was good, a modest buffet and cooked eggs/bacon on request. I managed to eat cake for breakfast the entire time I was here - well if you can't on holiday, when can you eh?

The Cala Sinzias Resort, a four-star hotel inaugurated in 2021, was built a few steps from the sea following the typical structure of the Etruscan villages. A project by architect Vito Sonzogni, designed to be on a human scale, where nature is an integral part of the structure. The hotel has 95 finely furnished rooms, overlooking a garden with Mediterranean vegetation. As soon as you arrive, the harmony between the Sardinian granite houses and the park that surrounds them makes the guests feel comfortable and away from stress. All rooms have a patio and garden. They are made with a light design, a simple and functional style that is immediately associated with beach holidays. The rooms are divided into 4 types: Garden Room, Garden Executive, Garden Suite and King Suite. The Cala Sinzias Beach is located 200 meters from the resort and can be reached through an internal avenue surrounded by vegetation. The room reservation includes the use of beach umbrellas, sunbeds and showers. In addition to the lifeguard service, on the beach or at the reception, rubber dinghies, canoes can be rented and diving excursion can be booked. The Cala Sinzias Resort offers several alternatives to satisfy the requests of its guests. At the Ulivo Restaurant. open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a buffet is served with show cooking. For a special evening it is possible to dine at the Cocktail Restaurant Idea where the Chef’s creations are accompanied by expert sommelier barmen. The Chiringuito on the beach and the Luna Bar at the pool offer snacks, cocktails and refreshing drinks to better face swims, beach tennis and long stays on a sunbed. Pets NOT allowed.

Reviewed By Franci9371Chia Laguna is composed of several different accommodation possibilities. This review regards the Village accommodation. The Village has accommodation in cottages and buffet service meals. It has a huge pool and a train that brings you to the beach. All in all our holiday was good but there were some points that we did not like. The rooms are very small : for three persons they are really tiny and with very little storage space. There were no kleenex in the room and despite being refurbished you can see they have an old concept (bathroom with no ventilation, tiny walls - you can hear all from upstairs...). The sea is beautiful BUT the beach is not well managed : the life guard is never there, always talking on the phone and never finding any solutions to whatever question you may have. You need the lifeguard to collet towels but he is never around.... the animation team is not much present (probably due to the covid emergency) nevertheless the evening shows are very nice. Food is nice BUT the service is very disorganized. Both at the restaurant on the beach and at the buffet. Waiters are not organized : they do all sorts of things (they dress up the table, take the orders for the rinks, clean up the table, etc) so nobody knows exactly what to do and as a consequence there are queues and tables are never cleaned up. This was a major issue at dinner. Also the prices of the drinks are ridiculously high : 4 euros for a bottle of water and no less that 45 euros for a bottle of wine. They overcharge too much. Last note : the tea quality was very low and really undrinkable... If the management could redress the service problem it would be a good start.

Reviewed By Timothy FWe stayed there for a week in the Hotel and had a really nice time. The weather was perfect, the staff were so friendly. They have a smile for everyone and are very helpful. I have to mention Marianna Angius and Antonio especially. They were mega friendly in the restaurant and it was a real pleasure to be there. Also they have a shuttle to the beach that runs the whole day, even though the beach is only 500 metres away. ? So if you are feeling a bit lazy....... Also I spent some time in the Gym. Good equipment and well kept. The rooms are in a good condition, modern and clean and it had a good AC. Thanks to the Hotel. It is especially great if you want peace and quiet and we would recommend it.

We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and guidance throughout our stay by Valentina, our guardian angel, who organized everything to perfection, from the reservation of deckchairs to the starred restaurants or even thought of the late check out! As regulars of Forte Village, we again particularly liked the general quality of service this year, which is exceptional for Europe. Special mention to Davide at the Castello pool! The food is always incredible! Breakfast at Le Cavaliere is an experience. We also had the chance to experience the cuisine of two great Michelin star chefs in attendance, Andrea Bertone and Heinz Beck! A huge congratulations ?! Exceptional cuisine in a magical and intimate setting without the formality of their respective restaurants! What a pleasure! Marek, who has been faithful to the tennis position, has not betrayed Forte Village's reputation as one of the ten best hotels in the world for the practice of this sport. The courts and support are exceptional! What a wonderful setting to play tennis! Again, a huge thank you to Valentina from the swimming team who helped our 5 year old daughter to get the hang of it... and to Francesca the babysitter! A very nice relationship! Long live Pistillo and the baby-dance. Last but not least, thanks to Valeria Garau for her patience and flexibility in organizing our stay and to Mara Mercuri who has always been present and available for all these years! Without a doubt, in these troubled times with the coronavirus, Forte Village is one of the most beautiful options for a vacation in the Mediterranean! Reviewed By chch00007Alma Resort is deserved of its 4 star status. The accommodation is clean, fresh and comfortable and the air conditioner is quite and highly effective. The resort is fairly large and it’s highly probable that you’ll be situated as much as a 10 minute walk from the absolutely stunning beach. There are lots of beach chairs but beware, the ones that are situated closest to the sea are all reserved and it’s likely that you’ll end up at the back with no view of the sea or your children. The pool is small by 4 star standards and be prepared to listen to non-stop Italian pop if you choose pool over the sea. My only real issue with the report of the price they charge for the buffet lunch - €30! I recommend you drive or walk to one of superb local pizzeria or seafood restaurants and have your food freshly prepared for a lot less cash! Overall not bad, but I’m interested to check out some of the other resorts when I’m next in Sardinia.

Heaven on Earth
Reviewed By 327denisavIf you look for a heaven on Earth, a beautiful quiet place with incredible scenery and perfect service, Is Morus Relais is definitely the right choice. The place itself is over the top, with its huge garden/ park full of oleanders, hibiscus, pine and olive trees and other vegetation and two private sand beaches directly next to the hotel. However, in addition to all this, the atmosphere and allover fabulous service make Is Morus unbeatable. All the staff is very polite, kind and helpful – in every moment you can feel that the guests´ well is the most important here. The hotel manager, the ladies at the reception, the chef and the pastry chef and their team, the waiters, barkeepers, lifeguards, housekeepers and the other staff provide every single quest with an excellent service, combining both high professionality and graciousness. They kind of become „a part of your family“ and give you another reason for wanting to come back to this amazing hotel as soon as possible. In spite of the spacious facility, the hotel capacity is not even 50 rooms in the main building which allows the staff not only to treat the hotel guests in a unique way but also gives more than enough privacy for whatever you decide to do or wherever you want to spend you time – whether it is the beach (the sunbeds, towels and parasols are free of any extra charge), the garden, the pool, the bar or any of the hotel restaurants. I was accommodated in the main building, only about 50 meters from the beach and the sea, the Mediterranean type of room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with a spacious balcony to sit and watch the sea. There are also a few villas in the huge garden – certainly a great choice if you want to come with the whole family or friends and want even more privacy. The dining is fabulous at Is Morus – terrific food served at the terrace-type restaurants, with one side open to view and enjoy the sea even when eating. The cuisine offers all what foreigners love about Italian food – local, high quality products like fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, pasta, superb meat, great wine, perfect coffee… If you like to eat, you´ll get spoiled here more than you could have imagined… There is also a large swimming pool with a panorama view, overlooking the sea, about 50 meters from the main building – I haven´t tried it as I preferred the sea all the time, but, in stone, it looked perfectly maintained and inviting. I haven´t had the chance to try out the spa either, as I was so focused on other activities, but it also looked very inviting and romantic. And as for the sea – that is a dream at Is Morus. The spacious, long private white sand beach (and the other beaches along the coast as well) gives the opportunity not only for lazy enjoying, but also for long walks or swimming along the beautiful coast – a breathtaking mixture of wide abandoned sand beaches, rough rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. The water is crystal clear, absolutely top. Is Morus turned out a love at first sight for me, and definitely a love forever. Its atmosphere, the bond between the wild nature at one side and the highest comfort at the other one, and the kindness of the staff create a unique combination and a very, very special place that makes one feel in paradise.
