Such a peaceful tranquil place to spend nights after touring around Chianti. Staff are really nice and have all the time in the world to spend time talking to the guests, whether it’s recommending local restaurants, talking about the house or just general chitchat. The walks around the grounds are fantastic with all the animals to see. The pool, hot tub, and sauna and everything are well maintained and spotless clean. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and well laid out. Coffee is as good as it gets. Although we didn’t have an evening meal here I can only imagine how good it would be. All in all it’s truly a fantastic agriturismo and one we hope to visit again.

Great Tuscany base
Reviewed By Daniel BTruly authentic Tuscan experience in between the vineyards and hills of Tuscany. The kids loved the swimming pool and it was a great bargaining mechanism for when the adults wanted to do some wine tasting. View from swimming pool looks like a postcard. Daily breakfast was also quite scrumptious. For the price, this is a great base to explore Tuscany from. The nearby village of Vinci is also worth a visit. On the negative (and reason for only scoring 4/5): - Wifi is basically non-existent in the rooms - Our shower had little pressure - No condiments in our room (some basics like salt / pepper / oil / sugar) would have been useful.

A XI century Tuscan Castle in the beautiful Florentine hills. The farmhouse is run by a young Italian couple and it is finely restored and well equipped with Pool/jacuzzi and private lovely gardens for outside dining. 2km to shops, bank, restaurant etc. Just 20 km to Florence and own Tuscan Restaurant.

Reviewed By ASmidtThis is a lovely small farm hotel north of Florence that had quite nice food. We stayed in the annex part below the main hotel which was new and quite well done. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you as it is up on a hill, but otherwise, it was a nice stay.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and was made quite aware that this place would become home. Absolutely breath-taking views from our room with the nicest food we had in Italy, we travelled all around Italy and yet it is here that are fondest memories stay. We loved it so much that we are planning on returning for our wedding! Thank you for everything Adriano, you have something very special there.

Very clean (spotless actually) rooms! Breakfast was so so good !!! (Fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread with all sorts of charcuterie, freshly baked cakes, cereals, home made cappuccino: it won’t get any better than this!) Great garden, surrounded by olive trees and lavender fields + nice and clean swimming pool and seats to relax! I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this one! Oh, and they produce their own lavender essential oils and saffron, you can buy those at the b&b! Enjoy your stay at this wonderful place!

We are in Chianti Rufina . The farm position is wonderful because is on the hill with panoramic view on olive growe ... We are just 23 km from Firenze and 3 km from the nearest station train, so in few time you can arrive in the historical centre of Firenze by train too. We produce wine, extra vergin olive oil and we have a kitchen garden, everything with organic method , runed by us : me, my husband and Vittorio (18 years)Our farm is composed in just 5 apartament and 2 doublerooms, so the atmosfera is very quite and relaxing. Each apartament is totaly indipendent with its private entrance, view on olivegrowe . In the farm you find a big swimmingpool ( 13,5 x 6 mt) and a big and new HORSE RIDINGS arena with horses . restaurant for the farm guests with tuscan recipies hand made every accomodation has : indipendent entrance, space outside private, wi-fi , air condition, cable tv. we are happy to host you and give you a charming , magic and tasting Holiday in TOSCANA ciao!!! all service are JUSTfor our clients and we don't take people from outside , so service as meals and pool and everything are Just ofr our guests in a incredible relaxed atmosfera!!!

Reviewed By MortenSkovgaardPodere Il Poggiolo gets the highest possible recommendation from us! We spent 9 days at this lovely place in early April on a recommendation from friends, and it beat all expectations. The farm is about a 1-hour drive from the Florence airport and situated on a hill right in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan landscape, very close to the village Rúfina where you can take care of all shopping needs (go to the local Coop store, and don’t forget to visit the café right next to it, which serves great ice cream!). We have been staying in the ‘Lavanda’ house, which (together with ‘Salvi’) are placed inside the fenced-in area of the farm – perfect if you are bringing kids and want them to roam around freely and get close to all the friendly animals. Our daughter absolutely loved hanging out with the cute dogs Flo (who will come and say hello every morning) and Arno and helping with the afternoon feeding of the animals – the pot-bellied pig Zizu, the donkey Gepetto, the pony Nutella and the huge boar Dante, as well as the farms’ horses. Riding Nutella was a blast as well. Serena and Alessandro are the best hosts that you could possibly want. Aside from being extremely service-minded both before arrival and during your stay, they are very knowledgeable about the area and will help you book everything from wine tastings to dinners. And they also run the farm’s own restaurant, which has consistently offered some of the best food we have eaten on this trip – with a great breakfast selection, tasty lunch sandwiches and of course the big 4-course Tuscan meal late in the evening, with plenty of mouthwatering dishes for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Dinners are late, at 20:30, but you can always get a pasta takeaway dish for kids earlier to eat in your own house if you want to put them to bed before the grand feast. Also be sure to order the farm’s local Chianti, which I am really going to miss when we leave this place. Also, the 'pizza party' where kids get to make their own pizzas in a wood-fired oven is a great way for the little ones to participate! The guest houses are very nice and spacious and clean, with their own kitchen, a small dinner table and various kitchen amenities. Window shutters ensure that little ones won’t be awakened unnecessarily by sunlight early in the morning. Aside from Florence – best reached by train from Rufina, which takes only half an hour and saves you the hassle of parking in the big city – great day trip suggestions include the towns of Siena and San Gimignano, the castle Monteriggioni, the old village Montifiorale and a nice tour of Castello di Verrazzano with a subsequent wine tasting. But make sure that you get plenty of time to just hang out and relax at the farm, which is really the best place to be. Many thanks to Serena and Alessandro – and their nice and friendly staff – for an amazing stay here in Tuscany. It’s a little slice of heaven, and all families should get to experience their incredible hospitality and magical place here at least once in their life!

The view over Florence is amazing by night. The apartments are very nice and the place is piece of History. I higly recommend this place.

The wine they produce is really good. On top of this the staff is so friendly and helpfull! I strongly recommend to stay here, and I will be back here myself!

Podere Campriano is a little family run winery in the earth of Chianti Classico area. The farm is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves owned, nestled in the quiet Tuscan countryside. We overlooks the village but, In 5 minutes walking you can reach the village of Greve in Chianti and within a few minutes drive you can visit cities like Florence and Siena. Guests can choose different accommodations: suites are rooms on two floors, the ground floor is a lounge and first floor mezzanine the master bedroom; Pilu's apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room; the standard double bedroom Loggia, smaller but with all comforts and the new apartment Serra with independent entrance and private garden. During their stay, guests can participate cooking classes an amazing experience to understand and taste the Tuscany cooking and organic Chianti Classico wines.

The room was so clean and charming, striking the perfect balance between traditional and modern and held an amazing view of the town and surrounding landscape! The breakfast was a highlight of each day with fresh cake, bread, fruit, eggs and more! Podere Campriano was a great base to other areas in Tuscany and we were so sad to leave!!
