Uttarakhand (English: /ˌʊtəˈrɑːkʌnd/), officially the State of Uttarakhand (Uttarākhaṇḍ Rājya), formerly known as Uttaranchal, is a state in the northern part of India. It is often referred to as the Devbhumi (literally "Land of the Gods") due to many Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres found throughout the state. The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon, with a total of 13 districts. The interim capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city of the state, which is a railhead. Ganga Aarti is a special evening Hindu ritual that is being done here to pay a tribute to a holy river Ganges. And, this ritual is famous as Ganga Aarti which happens twice in a day, in the morning and in the evening, Now, this ritual ( Ganga Aarti ) happens at three places at the same time in Rishikesh namely Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Triveni Ghat, and Shtrudhan Ghat near to Ramjhula Parking area. But you take a part of this ritual at Parmarth Niketan Ganga Aarti that starts around 05:00 PM and lasts for 45 minutes, is followed by the chanting of Mantra ( Hanuman Chalisa ) sacred fire, essential oil, incense sticks etc.and medicinal herbs as purifying agents. The Aarti is performed by a group of Brahmins students, who are getting religious education. They make it happen each evening around 5:00 PM. And, anyone can take part in this ritual by giving a donation to Ashram.

I was lucky to be in New Delhi area and I suddenly was with the few guys exploring the old part of Delhi! What an amazing experience!! Anil is a very beautiful and kind being and he loves what he is doing, so the perfect guide for me! He walked us all around even in places you can only see with a local that know the area very well...The old market is a must see if you had some time to spend in Delhi. Nice local food too! I definitely recommend it. Thanks for making the day so beautiful!

Awesome stay during our trip to India, I just loved this wild life sanctuary as there are many types and species of birds can be seen. also many animals can be seen. It is totally worthy to have a visit here, its really amazing to see such wildlife sanctuary. Other then this we visited many UNESCO World Heritage Sites and most amazing is Taj Mahal and Jantar Mantar In Jaipur.

Raj has been a tour guide for a long time and was able to offer some once in a life time experiences including hand feeding hundreds of monkeys and elephant sanctuarys. the trip was customised to my preferences and Raj was able to help when i had a few problems arise.
