By chance my cousin and I made the connection with our family in October 2018. My cousin discovered the names and area of my ancestors after researching his own family in Bojano, Italy. Armed with nothing more than a photo and a few names we found descendants of my Great Great Grandfather. Since then I have visited Cusano 4 other times. I have met more than family. I've made friends with Town Hall employees, restaurant owners, and the residents of this small hilltop commune. The scenery is breathtaking. You'll never want to stay in a tourist destination again after taking in the tranquility of Cusano Mutri. I am fortunate to have discovered this amazing town and the genuinely amazing people that call it home.
