My husband and I landed at Venice at 10 PM and didnât reach our hotel until 10:45 PM. We were starving by this point and the hotel restaurant was closed and so was room service. We went on the search for food and came across this great kebabs shop. The food was fresh and tasted great. We had a vegetarian pizza and fries to share which was very reasonably priced. After we had eaten we asked either the owner or a worker there weâre not sure for a phone number for a taxi to our surprise The man offered to drop us to our hotel which was great and very hospitable of him. We would definitely recommend visiting this kebab shop if youâre looking for a quick hot tasty kebab or pizza.

We visited GNA Pizza on our short break to Italy & the large queue outside gave away that this was likely to be very good & we were not disappointed. Very good fresh pizza, served by friendly staff at a very good price. Highly recommended.

Typical Venetian restaurant. Specialties grilled meat. Pizzeria with wood oven. Fish on Friday evenings and Sunday lunch.
Just outside Venice proper in Marcon is a hidden gem. The genuine Italian food is served with a friendly staff that invites you in like you are part of the family. One of the owners, Nicola, came to the table to chat and wouldn't let us leave until we took him up on free dessert. The prices were reasonable and the cfood was fabulous. Grazie di cuore da tutto il personale. A rivederci presto.

We ate at Piero's snack on 30 July and it was delightful! Very down to earth with no fine wines, but delicious food and very pleasant house wine served in a carafe. We both had Caprese salad followed by a pizza each with half a litre each of house wine - the bill came to an impressive â¬37, including a basket of bread and a litre of water - fabulous value! Go there if you are staying at Park Hotel Junior.

Food is delicious. My family of 4, including 2 older children, were made to feel very welcome by this restaurant. They explained some things we did not understand on the menu. A good variety. Good for just a drink as well. Would recommend this.

A little gem in the small town of San Liberale. Cozy atmosphere with wooden tables and floors; extensive menu with pizza, calzones and salads. Wine and beer selection limited but good. Pizza delicious. High quality appreciated after some rather mediocre presentations elsewhere!

We recently stayed in Quarto D' Altino, about 30 minutes outside Venice, Italy. We dined at the Ristorante Pizzeria Vecio Decimo ... and our meal was fantastic. They have a rather limited wine by-the-glass selection, but the food is quite good, and the house wines okay.

We stayed down the street at the Crowne Plaza and were looking for a quick dinner for an exhausted family. Just about 2 blocks away this little take out place has about 40 plus choices of pizza combinations. Very thin and simple but delicious crust. Everything was very reasonably priced. Four thumbs up from this family.

It was real treat to have dinner in this excellent restaurant with some or majority calabrese disches as the owner said. I would suggest not to miss antipasto dela casa which is just introduction to fine cuisin that you will try here, after that you may continue with extraordinary calabrese pizza or if you like spicy food you should try Sclilatelli con anduja (some extra spicy calabrese sausage, tomato, olives, in chees eatable "basket"- pure perfection). Great value for money-antipasto, primo, pizza, beer, vine (1/4l), sorbetto- 37eur, plus grappa & limonchelo on the house. Great, reccommendation, we will be back.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Quarto d'Altino while visiting Venice, and one of the front desk guys recommended this restaurant for pizza. We went one evening and are so glad we did. It was one of our two favorite pizza places on our 14-day trip to Italy. If you're staying at the Crowne Plaza with a car, it's easy to get to. It is, in my opinion, too far to walk, though. I think we were the only English speakers at the place, but we were treated kindly and fairly. Nice seating area inside, but we preferred the outdoor dining.
