This was a great option for us when we wanted a pizza or sandwich as we were staying in a near by hotel. My 10 year old that this was the best mushroom pizza of the holiday and i thought it was good pizza and great value.

Came here for dinner with friends. Great views as with most restaurants in Capri but the food was mediocre and the service was not good. They had an extended menu but some of the dishes served were very basic, compared to other restaurants. The waiters were too busy chatting to each other than seeing to tables. But when they did come to the table, it was all rush rush and no patience. In fact, our waiter disappeared mid ordering and when we checked heâd put in a full order by second guessing for my friend who was only enquiring about a dish earlier. Very strange. It was a popular place but we wouldnât return.

This is a very popular lunch spot for tourists in Anacapri especially from 11am until 2pm. But don't let the crowds deter you: you can find an excellent lunch here. The locals know this and order their pizzas to take away to avoid the chaos.They feature authentic Neapolitian pizzas. Thin crust, typically 3 toppings, and cooked in a 900 F wood burning oven for just 3 minutes. Wander up to the front and watch in amazement as the cheese bubbles and the crust puffs before your eyes.This is Italy: one 12 inch pizza per person. So coordinate your selections with your tablemates so you can trade slices. We ordered two pizzas in bianco: no tomato sauce. one with mozzarella, porcini, and sausage. the other with mozzarella, sausage, and broccoli-rabe. Both were excellent and we found thought the fennel seed infused sausage was among the best we've tasted. And the slightly bitter rabe was an unusual but tasty complement to the more typical meat and cheese.I also did some carbo-loading my ordering 2 aracini: deep fried saffron risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella. As good as I remember.2 pizzas, 2 Aperol spritz, plus an appetizer cost 54 euros. A bargain on the island of Capri.

We had the fried large calamari it was very fresh followed by followed by the seafood pasta again delicious and fresh. And for the dessert we had Tiramisu the best Iâve had and we are from NY we have amazing Italian food back home. Hands down the Tiramisu was the best!!! This is a beautiful waterfront restaurant. The waiters were attentive and great. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local he told us to stay away from the restaurants right when you get off the docks the better ones are just 5 minute walking distance and he was right. I went on his recommendation and it didnât fail.

The trouble with reviewing different restaurants is that they are not all of the same ilk and although I have only given this one 3 stars, others may feel it deserves more.As the title suggests, the way the staff handled tourists was different to the way they handled locals, who were warmly welcomed. The food was good although desserts sadly lacking in being anything special. The ambiance average and the service was for tourists, very ambivalent. Cost wise 74 euros for two courses and two drinks plus coffees. That said if locals like it, then maybe it deserves 4 stars..

This was the most disappointing meal we had in Naples. The food wasnât bad. It just wasnât up to the standards weâve been spoilt it in Naples. The highlights: â Eggplant Parmesan. This was very good. The highlight of the meal. â Spaghetti with clams. This was decent but not great. I really like the el dente cooked pasta in general in Italian restaurants but this was really too undercooked.â Gnocchi with tomato sauce: This is something we could have easily had In the US. The tomato sauce was nothing special and certainly not the high quality typically available in Naples. â Pizza with tomatoes four different types. In one word: disappointing.Dear customers We are very sorry to read that your experience has not been in line with your expectations. Letâs answer to each point.The pasta. Our pasta itâs artisanal and, as every kind of artistanal pasta, is imperfect unlike the industrial ones and probably the perception you had itâs due to the amid that this kind of pasta releases during cooking time and of course industrial kind of pasta does not have this amount of amid released. My wife and i had a fantastic evening meal here, overlooking the sea to the Bay of Naples.Food, service and atmosphere were top notch.The restaurant is kind of hidden down quiet alley ways, which made us doubt we were in the right place.We will definitely return.

Found this restaurant on our walk to Villa Jovis and so enjoyed it on our first night that we came back for our second night in Capri. Good pasta, salads and dessert, good pizza and good house wine. Good service and personable servers.Even though it requires a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Capri Centre, we can highly recommend it
