Nice room and location

You could stay here longer if you wanted to visit the Cinque Terre, but we didn't know (and really really liked our place in cinque tierre). It is right down the street from the main train station. It was super hard for us to find-- we walked around and around trying to find it. It's not the traditional hotel where they have a store front. It's inside an apartment-like building. We had to wait for someone to come let us in. It is on the 5th floor if I remember correctly, but there is a elevator to take luggage and such. We did get the free breakfast, and enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the near restaurant on the square next to the building. It was quite good with eggs and breads and coffee. The other food options nearby are quite good. The man said there was an AC, but it blew out hot air. Maybe we were not using it properly, and we were fine with the windows opened.

Staff were very nice and helpful including Michael the Manager - offers a good budget price but agree best to have a car if you stay here .Buses to Portovenere or La Spezia is 2 Euro each - 20 minute journey from each to hotel so you can add 8 euro to price per day if you are a couple.Breakfast was good

Cheap and not so bad stay
Reviewed By MrJackFrostI chose this inn because it was relatively cheap among the high price Vernazza and close to the station. 1 minute walk from the station. There are no big complaints in particular, but they are cheap, and the rooms are narrow, with few amenities, and the walls are thin, so the noise of other guests has been heard. Breakfast was not included and can be added for 8.5 euros. I think that there is no problem if you only go to bed purely. The owner's grandmother can hardly speak English, but she was very caring and friendly. 宿泊相場の高いvernazzaの中で比較的安価で駅から近かったのでこの宿を選びました。駅からは徒歩１分です。特に大きな不満はありませんが安いだけあって、部屋は狭くアメニティも少なく、壁が薄いため他の客の騒音が聞こえてきました。朝食はついてないプラン、8.5ユーロで追加できます。純粋に寝るだけであれば問題ないと思います。オーナーのお婆ちゃんは英語はほとんど喋れませんが、とても愛嬌のあるフレンドリーな方でした。

Reviewed By AlexandraLuminitzaIl veliero was our perfect accomodation for La Spezia. It is situated near the harboar and at 30 minuted walking distance from the railway station. The room was clean and tiddy. It featured also an espresso machine and a light breakfast : crostini, nutella, peach jam and milk.

Reviewed By alx614Nice genuine hotel close to the Vado Ligure harbor. We booked a room very last minute for one night, prior to an early morning ferry trip the next day. Service is great, rooms are clean, Alessandro was very kind and accommodating, organizing a late dinner and a very early breakfast for us all. I highly recommend.

Reviewed By YaEpThe owner was vary hospitable although she spoke very little English. The facilities are basic, clean and well kept. The location is right at the edge of the old city where all the attractions are, one bad point is that right next to it there was a bar that played load music till the late hours, the music was not load in side the room but could be heard - might be a problem for light sleepers.

Spacious room and modern bathroom
Reviewed By Vivienne TWe booked on hotels.com. The room is very spacious, with a comfortable double bed. There is a sofa, fold away table, mini fridge, space for coats and bags, and a modern bathroom. The bathroom is big by European standards, you don’t feel cramped. It’s built into the rock which means there are some interesting and attractive chunks of rock above the toilet and in the shower, I found them very cool. The TV only has Italian channels but that was ok for us. Giovanni speaks excellent English and is reachable via WhatsApp. You should know that you need to park at the entrance of the village, then walk down the hill. Bring a roller case or a LIGHT bag. I regret packing so much, it was a struggle getting back up the hill.

Great Location
Reviewed By ClaudiaA5099We had a faboulus stay at le giare. We were picked up at the roundabout and guided to our parkingspot. Gianluca helped us with our luggage and gave some tips about restaurants. Breakfast was way down at the train station, it was very good with nice staff. The big room was modern and nice, aircondition, refrigerator, coffeemachine,waterheater,milk frother, there were cookies, different coffees, and paper-and plastic cups ( I think in other times, than corona, there are real cups and glasses ?) powerful hairdryer, a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very nice with a good water pressure. But the best was that beautiful balcony, so nicely decorated, furniture to sit and to lie on. Restaurants near by, to order food to go, to enjoy dinner with that stunning view. Just watch the balcony door, otherwise you will be accompanied by the neighbours cat Balu?Highly recommend this location
