Summer vacation
Reviewed By kl109Was fine with this place. However, you will need to bring a microwave by yourself ioi. They don't have one here. Also, there is a beach but you will need to walk approx 15 to beach. Would I come back to this place? Nah.... I will try some other places next time.

Reviewed By Debo1308Muy buena ubicación, ya que el resort se encuentra en Norrd a 15 min. De Moomba Beach. Certa de todas la grandes cadenas hoteleras dentro de Palm Beach. Muy comodas las habitaciones y muy buen servicio de traslado, dado que cuenta con traslado a las mejores playas de Aruba. Eagle Bech y Moomba Beach con varios horarios( 9:25hs., 12:25hs.: 14hs. y 16 hs.) Menos los sabados porque el personal esta de franco. Super recomendable a nivel precio ubicación y calidad. Aclarando que en Aruba todo es caro.

Fantastic get away from the city
Reviewed By richardmccrohanAbout 2 hours drive for the centre of Seoul is a great little hotel (only 4 rooms) set in an idyllic quiet spot next up a tiny road on Illaksan mountain. The building itself has been covered by a number of architectural magazines/websites for its stunning design. Add to this the very welcoming owners (even if they only speak Korean) and the location, then it has to be a winner. We stayed in the rooms called the Forrest. Beautiful bedroom and living area, a separate kitchen/dining room across the balcony, which can be used for a BBQ and the private outside bath on the roof. The whole place was really cool. Soohwarin operates like a B&B, with a very nice breakfast. Dinner is left to the guests, bring your own food and wine, cook in the kitchen attached to each room, or on a BBQ. We brought ham, cheese, wine etc and simply chilled out. If you don't want to sit around all day, although it is tempting, there are great walks in the mountains and temples to see close by. A little further afield there are nice beaches and many fishing villages with great seafood within 30 mins drive. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. We will do this again.

Pension in the forest..

This pension's parking area and road to this pension was a little small, but the pension was good facility. The room was clean and good, and the atmosphere was good to us. The pension was located in forest, so the view and the atmosphere was good.

Reviewed By TamiTamWe stayed here for 2 nights during Chuseok holiday. The Pension seemed fully booked and was alive with activity. The room was nicely set up and full of color yet quiet despite the holiday crowd. The bed was firm and comfortable and the bathroom was nice, updated with great shower water pressure. And it had a fancy heated Korean toilet seat for cleaning "down under." The view over the water was amazing and our room faced the sun rise. To end our stay, we enjoyed a seafood BBQ offered by the pension. Our hosts started cooking and we finished BBQ'ing oysters, clams and shrimps. We enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful retreat with beautiful rooms
Reviewed By HJM1988We stayed here for one night whilst road-tripping around Chungnam. We'd hoped to stay closer to Ganworam, but when I found this place it was just.. surreal! We got a heavily discounted rate on a Sunday night during spring, so were able to enjoy our own suite - we stayed in the 'green' room. Huge whirlpool tub in the main room, bathroom is separate with a walk in shower and plenty of space (not the standard, budget Korean cubicle bathroom). The bedroom was separate too, lovely tall sloping ceiling with a sky-light window. So many cute details have been added to these rooms - ambient lighting, kitchenette, and we had a large corner deck to walk out onto (balcony on the 2nd floor). They'll happily bring you up a BBQ with charcoals ready (for a small fee), leaving you in peace to enjoy your evening. There was a decent stereo and TV in the room, but there's no internet. There aren't restaurants or any large shops around - Hwangdo is very out-of-the-way, so take some supplies with you. Otherwise, the pension has a buil-in mart on the ground floor with beers, water and snacks, so you won't starve or die of thirst. This place was comfortable, and if you're looking for romance - enjoy. The bathtub is enormous and took around 30 minutes to fill, but the water's piping hot and well worth the wait.
