Breathtaking view of Lundy Island this beautiful beach was outstandingly clean even though it was absolutely packed with families enjoying the sunshine. Great waves for surfing and lovely little natural pools for the younger children to play in safely. One of the best English beaches we have visited.

Sam made the afternoon's hang gliding experience relaxing, super-safe and great fun. From setup to take-off to landing, it was a really good way to enjoy a bird's eye view of the North Devon coastline, and one I would highly recommend. Once you've got over the fact that you're essentially 'jumping off a cliff' the rest seems easy. Thanks for a great experience Sam.

Woolacombe Riding Stables

Our family of four visited Woolacombe Riding Stables for an hour trek on horses and ponies across the beautiful Devon countryside. It was a really incredible experience! The guide- Sophie- and the four girl helpers were very chatty and kind. We all managed to have a trot- even my brother and I for whom this was only our third time on horses. Our parents as more experienced riders even had a canter! There was no need for getting off the horses to take photos- Sophie took some for us with the beach and rolling hills laid out beautifully behind us. The horses were lovely too, and they seemed well cared for. We would all definitely come again- we had a really lovely time. I would definitely reccomend this ride for all abilities. Rosie

Took stock of this area from a terrific, high vantage point before walking to Baggy Point. The south point of Putsborough Beach eventually meets Woolacombe’s award-winning Sands and offers one of north Devon’s best coastlines. A good day out.
