I came to Ireland specifically to ride, so my expectations were fairly high. Mountain View exceeded them. Sweet, well-cared for, beautiful horses and LOVELY and welcoming guides, stunning views during the rides-- the beach ride was probably the most amazing thing I've done on any trip in my entire life. The weather was super rainy for me but I still had the time of my life. The weather didn't both the horses at all, Wear rain gear! A ride with Mountain View is a must if you're in the area (or if you aren't in the area, I came in from Dublin and was very glad I did).

Lahinch Surf School

Lahinch Surf School is all about being friendly, safe and fun in the surf! Established by John McCarthy, three times Irish Senior Surf Champion, John established Co.Clare's first Surf School to share his love and 'stoke' for surfing. Lahinch Surf School has stayed true to that dream ever since. When we're not surfing big waves at the Cliffs of Moher (the wave John named "Aileens"), you'll find us at our 'Beach Hut' on Lahinch promenade. The positive vibes are infectious dude! Courses: Outside of doing a single two hour lesson any day of the year, our most popular courses are the 'Weekend Surf Course' for adults, which is 3 fun lessons over the weekend; and our Kids(9-12), Teens(13-18) and Grom(6-8) Camps in school holidays. You are welcome to come join the fun at Lahinch Surf School.

Caher Valley Loop

Reviewed By earth81_13 - Galway, Ireland

A lovely walk to get away from it all. Met very few people on this loop. Started off by going left out of Fanore beach car park, & took right turns there after until coming back to the carpark. Start off with road surface & then the climb starts on the grassy surface. & it is a climb, & just when you think you have reached the top, you go around the corner, & there is another little hill. But once you reach the top of that hill, it is downhill all the way home. Lovely views once you get back on the road surface heading back to the carpark. Took 3 hours, with about a 20 min stop for a picnic lunch.

Clare Coastal Walk Project

Spectacular views on this walk. Truly amazing and well-worth taking a few hours out of your day to go on it. It is not too difficult but good walking runners or boots are definitely a must. There are quite a lot of boggy areas (even in dry weather) to cross over. This is definitely a must if in Doolin or nearby.
