If one isn't a member you will need to have a member introduce you and sign you in. A must-play golf course that's challenging yet so much fun to play on.

Sigona Golf Club

Reviewed By harryg935 - Lavington, Kenya

Sigona Golf Club is located on the road to Naivasha/Nakuru and is a perfect place to stay for visitors arriving in Nairobi after dark. For golfers it is a hidden gem, the 18 hole woodland course is challenging but at times forgiving, the are some spectacular views such as the view from the 10th tee, an elevated tee box takes some getting too but the rewards are worth it. The caddies are exceptional and their knowledge of the course is invaluable, if you don't listen to their advice you'll suffer the consequences. The club houses is one of the best I've seen and the service is second to none, an adequate menu for all tastes, I highly recommend the wings, an ample portion for the healthier appetite. The suites accommodation is perfect in every way, its clear to see that an investment has been made here, the staff are welcoming and friendly and will cater for whatever you need, room service arrives quickly with the food still piping hot, not the slightly warm dishes you usually get from room service. Wonderful views of the course and practice areas are offered from the room at the rear of the building, make sure you ask when booking or checking in. The only aspect of Sigona that i was not impressed with was the security, uninterested guards that spend their time sleeping during the silent hours, keep that in mind if you're arriving late, you may need to blast the horn on the car or get out and knock on the windows of their hut.All in all an excellent place with so much to offer, I will certainly be staying here again and again. Well done to all the team!!
