Great experience. Glenn is magician I would say. Glenn was very informative, helpful and friendly. We booked kayaking around Newcastle for 2 hours but at the last minute, we changed our spot and went on a creek (Hexen Island) as my wife was not comfortable, being pregnant and it was her first time. Glenn instructed us and gave some lessons. Only practice took us 2 hours and then we went for kayaking for one and half hour. Glenn you really made our day. Highly recommended. We will plan sooner again with you.

Getaway Girls

Getaway Girls is a unique tour offering fitness and adventure, while exploring the beautiful Byron Bay. Guided safari walks through Cape Byron headland, next, Byron Bay's newest Art gallery to experience the eclectic local talent on display, after a delicious lunch depart town for the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland for a dose of aerial yoga! An absolute treat for the body (and generally a good giggle too!)

Kaylene from Getaway Girls planned my 6oth birthday 3 night celebration in Byron Bay with 6 friends, and everything was fabulous! We changed dates several times and Kaylene was able to accommodate each time. Kaylene was organised and super friendly, and so were the staff at the events she planned. We had a terrific mixture of activities, eating and relaxing - including dinner and breakfast, tai chi / martial arts, walk / climb to lighthouse, snorkeling, and massage / facials. Everything went without a hitch and was a million times easier to organise with a group than trying to do it yourself. The value for money was also exceptional with the number of activities included in the cost. If I could, I would go back every year to try the other activities and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Byron. Thanks Kaylene, I couldn't have loved it more!

Never realised that Newcastle had such a great places for swimming! This is definitely a new fav. I prefer this to the beach as it feels safer and you don’t end up with sand all inside your cozzies ???????? Great for families with children of all ages as there is also a shallow rock pool area

This swimming spot is a little difficult to find but once you have you will be greatly rewarded. Situated between the cliff and the ocean it is definitely a unique place worthy of the effort.

The Entrance Pelican Feed

Central Coast Council is taking precautionary measures to protect staff and the community against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). As such we have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the Pelican Feed. We are monitoring information supplied by NSW Health and Federal authorities daily and will provide updates to our community regularly as information comes to hand. We encourage you to stay up-to-date with the latest information and advice from NSW Health. The Pelican Feed takes place on The Entrance waterfront at 3.30pm each day and is one of the Central Coast's most popular tourist attractions, entertaining and educating visitors and residents alike about the area’s own pelican colony.
