This award winning bar / restaurant is a favourite with the locals in Estrella de mar and tourists alike, the food is excellent although the menu is not extensive, which is probably a good thing as every dish is given meticulous attention to the flavour and presentation, something that wouldn't be possible with a large menu. There is though, a dish to satisfy everyone, ribs or mixed grill if you're really hungry or try the home cooked ham eggs and fries for a tasty English favourite, I can also highly recommend the chicken Cesar salad... delicious! If Sunday roast is your thing then there's nowhere to compare with the Don Lorenzo carvery, with a selection of 3 roasts and an 'as much as you can eat' buffet, booking is highly recommended for Sunday lunch though, you will not be disappointed. Proprietors Simon and Joanne along with their staff, make you feel very welcome, with a selection of draught beers and cider from a well stocked bar, decent sized and comfortable beer gardens too. The bar / restaurant is signposted just off the main road that runs through the village. Quiz night on Wednesday offers loads of fun with everyone winning a small prize, Friday night is open the box with €500 being won on the Friday I was there.

A two lane short mat bowls facility set in the ample palm gardens of the Casa Bernie ( formally Casa Familiar) bar and restaurant. Available for all ages from 12 - 80. Bowls are provided free. Turn up and play. Suitable footwear to be worn, trainer type. Free tuition available for beginners. Fun and skillful to play, ideal for all including experienced bowlers. Enjoy drinks and snacks before or after your game. We also cater for Groups with Meal package and bowls.

Amazing cocktail bar, been to Zarcos throughout the duration of our holiday and the service, cocktails and prices are incredible. Would highly recommend if you want to come for a relaxing drink with family or friends and for amazing prices. They also offer 2 for €9 cocktails between 8-10pm.
