Top 10 Nightlife in Bangkok, Thailand

July 13, 2021 Randal Brittian

Golden palaces, floating markets, majestic porcelain-laid spires…you've never seen a capital city quite like Bangkok. Visit Pratunam or Siam Square for premium shopping, then unwind in the European-style gardens of Dusit. Thon Buri is home to the awesome Wat Arun temple, and over in Phra Nakhon, you’ll find the Wat Pho temple of the Reclining Buddha. Savor mango sticky rice at a food stall before taking in the gilded splendor of the Grand Palace.

Bangkok Pub Crawl

Bangkok is a city of absolute madness. And it has a nightlife to match that sentiment! That’s why we run pub crawls in Bangkok every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Yeah, you heard that right. We get the party started at Bodega Bangkok and then we’re off to some of our favorite bars. After that, we cap out the night with a visit to either Khao San Road or Ratchada Train Market.

Ive been to Khaosan road many times, its always the same-- Arrive in Bangkok, find cheap hotel on Khaosan, sleep off some of the jet lag, walk the streets one night and people watch (drunk tourists, lady boys, Nic-nack shopping, street food etc), and get out of there to more enticing places in Thailand ASAP! This time was different, I saw signs of 'comedy show' and was given a flier- 200bhat for the show which included a drink. Sure, why not I like comedy. Good choice! The venue was simple, small and intimate, drinks were fair priced, and a range of funny comedians doing their thing. Afterwards, we hung out with the other patrons and comedians, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, and had great conversation all night. Made some new friends, had a great time, and got to laugh at people who were actually trying to be funny! (Usually we just laugh at the drunk tourists stumbling down Khaosan road with ladyboys in hot pursuit, this was much better) Next time and every time im on Khaosan Rd, ill pay the comedy club a visit-- you should too!

Exceptional Service by Khun Aoi, Khun Faii, Khun Mew and a special Thanks to Khun Jariya (the best table, thank you), for making this a special night to remember and all of the bar staff at Vanilla Sky who delivered delicious cocktails, especially the signiture cocktail, to us throughout the night. My new favourite place to visit and I will back for sure. If you want the good city view, be sure to ask for table 27... Great food and again the service was beyond my expectations. Thank you again Daniel and Dema.

My girlfriend and I went yesterday (a Saturday) for the first time to this great bar and we absolutely loved it! It is a well-kept little place, a touch above ordinary bars. Last night the bar was abuzz with people even though it was a national holiday, the weather wasn't the best and lest not forget the coronavirus. We arrived around 19:30 and there were a few available tables, later on the bar was packed! The live music starts at 20:00 so I highly recommend you going earlier to have a place since you cannot make reservations. We were there for about 2:30 hours and we could have easily spent the whole night there! We were truly captivated by the music played by the band. For me personally, it was really special since it was the first time I listened to jazz in a club. We had several signature cocktails and all of them were perfectly balanced. We loved all of them! My girlfriend and I will definitely come back soon.
