We lived in Timmins from 2012 to 2019. Gillies lake is right in town. Great place for a walk along path that goes all way around the lake. The water is clean and good for swimming. Nice quiet place where to relax, meditate at lunch or anytime of the day.

Beautiful park. Didn't stay as the weather wasn't working for us but looked very nice. If in the area again would be a spot to consider camping.
