Reviewed By SheepyTravellerThis Ibis has nothing to do with the other Ibis Hotels I stayed before. Im wondering how Accor still could offer this hotel that name. Carpets old and full of stains, bathroom not clean, smell of smoke everywhere and breakfast so simple with very limited choices. The Coffeemashine so dirty and coffee didn't taste as well. Not recommended if you expect a Ibis like in Europe.

a confortable and reasonably priced hotel in Zhongshan
Reviewed By srinivasan369Having booked some time ago, I landed in Hong Kong and took a bus to Zhongshan. There, not knowing it was situated so far from the center, I took an autorickshaw which finally was more expensive than a taxi, while from Zhongshan I could have taken the fast light train which stops at 5' walk. When I reached the hotel I was welcomed by the attendant who helped me to get an affordable price for the rickshaw. My sojourn there was very OK : people quite nice and helping a lot. Of course they knew only Chinese but I could manage to be understood! And the director himself came with me to the near station when I wanted to go for an excursion to Kaiping. I returned only several days after and I was welcomed like the first day without any problem. There is a small washing machine in the main hall and dryer : quite useful and practical. I didn't eat in their restaurant. 'cause I'm vegetarian. But I was very satisfied : no noise, everything clean, service OK, I could also used their Net system without any problem. And the hotel is situated on the road to Macau and the native village of "Zhongshan" the founder of the Chinese Republic. There is also a bus going to Macau as to Zhongshan. Very very nice!

Reviewed By Poohmak酒店靠近中山北站，從酒店打車過去，十分鐘以內就能到達。從中山北站坐城軌去珠海或者廣州只需珠海或者廣州的一半。不過周邊沒什麼大型商場，購物吃飯選擇比較少喔。

Pretty basic hotel but still good for China standards
Reviewed By pyt_go_girlLocation was pretty good. THere was a nice Cantonese restaurant next door that served pretty good Cantonese food. Very convenient location, bakeries, supermarket, produce market within 10 minutes walk to buy water, fruits and toiletries and many bakeries and snack places to pick up food for the road. The hotel itself is quite basic, comfortable enough. AIrcon was a bit noisy but you get used to it. Nothing out of the ordinary. They served breakfast for 20RMB, substantial enough with Chinese porridge, a few items like steamed buns and rice rolls, stir fried vegetables, eggs, tea and instant coffee. Front desk was friendly enough but did not speak English and I was able to get by with my rudimentary Mandarin. Not spotless but clean enough.

Reviewed By 廣東省中山市同區酒店裡算是最優的了.價格合理.設備新(新開的)房間也算大(不是每一間).不像隔壁的天宏大酒店.又髒又吵還有最差的就是隔壁的格林聯盟酒店.不僅房間小.服務差.價格貴.更重要的就是賣的VIP卡.再次消費還不認帳....真沒水準 如果要說缺點應該就算是窗外(窗戶不能開).景觀用的led燈的風扇.每晚18:00~22:00時.有點吵

Nice Little Hotel !
Reviewed By JimmyinChinaThis nice and cozy hotel apparently was opened in the middle of last year. We drove past it many times and look quite attractive and interesting from the outside. My 2 friends were visiting so I decided to look at the reviews in CTRIP and 99% of the reviews were positive, so I decided to book. The front desk staff were most polite and helpful and offered us tea while checking in. The room is very clean and not too cramp, and everything was functional with free mini bar (coke, sprite and beer). There is a quite big supermarket (Aeon) across the road with a few small uninteresting eateries there. If you want yum cha (dim sum), there is a Chinese restaurant 10-min walk away on the 4th floor of Dasin mall where the Carrefour supermarket is located. For what we paid (RMB 430 inclusive of service charge), we thought this place offers comfort and good value for money. Our room does not include breakfast but we just wanted to have freshly brewed coffee in the morning. We went to the Cafe at 11:00 am and we ordered 3 coffees but they did not charge us which was a surprise. One reviewer here mentioned the poor location but this hotel is in fact situated in the middle of town (Shiqi District) and the Hilton Hotel and mall is just less than 10 min ride away. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you are not looking for 5-star luxury. If there are anything negative, I would say our room on the 2nd floor faces the main entrance (and road), and the traffic noise was quite bad at night, so be sure to ask for higher floor or rooms facing the backyard.
