At the top of the hill in the town is a magnificent Duomo that is worth every step you take to get to it. It's actually about five sacred sites/time periods rolled into one which the architecture clearly shows. I liked it because it wasn't too big - you could get your head around this one - for me anyway. And after you've seen the inside the view outside is outstanding, a must visit if you are in Agrigento.
