This very atmospheric open air restaurant is close to the main square. We had dinner here after strolling in de fantasticly lighted square. Relaxed atmosphere, nice tables in the courtyard and good Iranese food on offer (in addition to the daytime coffeeshop menu). Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

The big problem is they can not manage the crowd so you need to wait for a long time on your feet. The staff are so tierd and not willing to . The place is hot and live loud music bothers you. Anyway a different place to have food. As it has been a bath a long time ago.

My husband and I spent last weekend in Isfahan(23-25 May.) On the Friday night I checked Tripadvisor for recommended local restaurants and came across Ghasr Monshi Restaurant. It had received great reviews and I especially liked the comment that many of their dishes were traditional home cooked Iranian dishes, not commonly served in restaurants. The experience lived up to our expectation. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a buffet with an array of different dishes to choose from . The exceptionally friendly service by all staff is also worthy of mentioning. From the two gentleman at reception(whose names I didn’t get) to our hostess/waitress , Mahnaz who spoke perfect English. The beautiful garden is also in full bloom and just added something extra to an already lovely evening. This restaurant is high end regarding price but definitely worth a visit.
