Great restaurant!!First, wonderful seating outside on the square, next we ask for red wine and get to taste several interesting wines, then the food, absolutely great, Pasta was the best we have had in Italy, the bistecca was really good, the salad great with quality service and atmosphere in the sunset, really lovely.

This restaurant was highly recommended by the owners of the apartment we rented and also by our landlady in a different town Casa DâAliga. Situated in a cave this place is really quite wonderful. The reception and menu are quite extensive and the wine list unbelievable. Well priced and with generous portions you might want to go for dinner and have a small lunch that day. What sets it apart, being in a cave and looking up to see some roots.This restaurant like all the others we visited had a great staff who strive to make your visit exciting and the experience memorable. Most assuredly put this on your Scicli to do list>

The place is hidden behind a bustling street in a great location, beautifully curated inside. We chose the fish tasting menu, the chef prepares surprise dishes for you, you only need to declare allergens and something you don't like. My favourite were the antipasto with raw red prawns and mazzancolle with fried lentils, than we had a delicious cod cream with what looked like a cannolo shell pastry. Two pasta dishes, I liked the ricotta filled ravioli in a red prawns broth. Vines to match and an excellent service made this place the best of the holiday.

In Scicli for visiting the famous Commissariato of Vigata, Camilleri's fictional Sicilian town where Montalbano conducts his investigations. We stopped for a quick lunch in Ummara, great little place with Sicilian dishes with a twist to it, great pasta and the desert was really great. The millefoglie con Ricotta. Prices are correct, service was fast and we felt really well.

Came highly recommended quite ordinary food and setting, very short menu, served first course in steep sided bowls which made it difficult to eat. And the ultimate sin, they forgot my lemincello!

We stumbled upon this little place, on an off the cuff trip to Sicili.Our host was very attentive, and with our very poor Italian, we ordered a small local cheese and meat platter to share. Absolutely lovely!!!The local beer slipped Down in the hot sunshine.We definitely plan to return for an evening before we leave the island.Canât recommend enough

Two seconds after we sit, we got a seven great appetizers and one liter of red wino. Cheese, salami, vegetables, rolled pig neck with bacon, salty pies, olives. Then came pasta with dried tomatoes, ravioli with ricotta, mixed meat in a Sicilian sauce. For desert canoli. We thought that was the end but there came a coffee and grapa. If you are really hungry and want to get some more fat on your body, Colle Del Sole is right place. It was tasty and all that for only 17 ⬠per person.

In a hot day in June, we discovered "Don Tabaré". We were planning to buy ice cream as a takeaway and go. We stay for almost one hour.With temperatures of almost 40C, all inhabitants and tourists deserted the streets and so was "Don Tabaré". JHowever, we enjoyed at most. Our ice creams prove to be delicious and prepared with care, nicely decorated. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff gave us explanations on many other specialities: pastry, tea, ...We really enjoyed that moment! Thanks.Thank you for join us! See you soon

This is a small seafood restaurant right in front of a beautiful Catholic Church. The food was good, but not great. However the location and the view was well worth the experience. The service was a little slow, but passable if you are not in a hurry. I had pasta with seafood that was tasty but a touch over cooked. The shrimp were cooked to mush and the pasta was a little overdone. For a second course I had the Italian sausage. The sausage was well prepared and very tasty.

The restaurant was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and pleasant!I understand that this establishment is known for its steak, but we only ate the pizza.We tried pizza at several places during our stay in Sicily (Marina di Ragusa, Ragusa, Modica, and Noto) but I must admit the pizza here was merely average. We would definitely return to try something else off the menu, but just not the pizza.Again the staff was super friendly and they deserve a visit!
