This is a good place for a tuscan lunch for a good price on the lovely terasse oposite of the road. The staff is very helpfull and even speaks a word of English The suggestions they made were perfect. We had the local starter for two and the special desert (including local sweet liquor). Simply delicious. Including water and wine, total EU33,=.

Siamo stati a un pranzo in questo agriturismo, posto alla buona. Noi abbiamo provato vari piatti della tradizione toscana, tutti molto buoni, in particolare la pasta fatta in casa, porzioni abbondanti.Unica nota negativa, siccome eravamo in diversi avevamo chiesto se ci fosse un menù fisso e ci è stato detto di no (infatti ognuno ha scelto quello che preferiva) ma non ci è stato fornito nessun menù dove fossero indicati i prezzi. Al momento di pagare non ci è stato dato nessun conto dove poter verificare, ci è stato solo detto che erano 30⬠a testa. La spesa ci sta per quello che abbiamo mangiato (primo, secondo e dolce) ma avrei gradito maggiore trasparenza in merito.

Local food, prepared beautifully and tastes amazing.Relaxed setting, homemade fresh warm bread was a bonus. Local wine is great, try the red sparkling for something a little different.The truffles are fresh and left unflavoured, so taste amazing.The peppermint and ginger liquor is a must!

Il ristorante è elegante ed accogliente, la veranda arricchisce di gusto ed intimità questa esperienza. Pasta fatta in casa prodotti locali e di stagione ,da consigliare la bistecca ed il gran fritto. La cantina è ben fornita e si adatta perfettamente alle proposte culinarie. La gestione familiare ed il servizio sono da lode.Consigliato anche per pranzi o cene di gruppo, di lavoro e cerimonie.

The drive from Parma to Chianti without using the A1 Motorway takes you through some fantastic and changing countryside. But eventually hunger and much more likely the need for a Loo will force you to make a stop. This place would not be in your top 50 from its exterior, and the two young men in tracksuits don't encourage a feeling of quality either... Like always, need exceeded doubt.... And Thank Goodness! A charming welcome, A lovely menu, Very decent house wine and the ability to cook ... Specifically, there is a butcher somewhere who has an excellent relationship with this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the Tracksuits, these lads know exactly what they are doing and understand the principles of being a good host and delivering quality products. Before we left we were shown what I would have to describe as a Porterhouse Killer. This was the biggest slab of T-Bone I have ever seen - No kidding, it must have been nearly 2 and a half inches thick... and apparently they have one customer who eats this... all of it... But probably not or many more years... Excellent for a lunch stop - Nice Loo's - A Warm Welcome - Good Food... Rather than stop at the services, why not drive off A1 and down a few mins into the village for lunch at il Ronco. Staff are really friendly and the food us delicious - all fresh and super value. We stop here every year on our way to Tuscany.
