One of the best hike I have ever done in my life, from Haputale town we hike through the Black Forest jungle, it was great adventure. It took almost 3 hours to reach the view point. We have able to see some wild life animals, birds, small mammals, lizards etc. we get down from the thotalagala side which is other side of the mountains to see lake Richmond. Highly recommend to do this hike if your in Haputale. Same hike you can visit the ravana cave too.

Situated in a 10 acre cinnamon estate, this is the most highest point in Dikwella area. There is a 40 ft three storied wooden tower to see the spectacular 360 degree view. You can see Dondra light house , whole coastal belt from Dondra to Tangalle also beautiful mountain view too. Also in the cinnamon estate you can see cinnamon processing , all sorts of trees and different kinds of birds too.

this tower is awesome. it's sooooo much fun!!!! i thought it would be scary but it really wasn't. the building is stong and easy to climb. just make sure you watch your step and hang on and you'll be fine. the view from up there is stunning. accessing the tower itself is free, getting there we had to hire this tiny care that resembled a golf car. it was very fun and the drivers were racing each other up the mountain and it was hilarious. 10/10.

The Scottish tea baron Sir Thomas Lipton used to survey his burgeoning empire from here. Lipton’s seat is a panoramic overlooking destination in Sri lanka. Handapanagala lake, Chandrika lake, Uda walwe lake, Wedi hiti Kanda mountains, and also the hambanthota harbor alocated in the in the southern coastal area nd five provinces in Sri Lanka can be seen remarkably. The Dambetenna longest tea factor
A great visit. We got a large tuk tuk to the top for 1,500 rupees (a normal tuk tuk is 1,000 one way) and then walked back down to the tea factory through beautifully manicured tea plantations. You can either walk on the road or down the steps amungst the tea. Once at the factory we got a bus (40rupees) back to haputale. We had a lovely time but due to our late arrival the mist had set in. Therefore I'd recommend doing this visit early morning so you can see the great views at the top.

Want to fly from here it will be the best option to do. That much of interesting place and a good view point to see the Nuwaraeliya, tea bushes, oliphant tea factory , highest mountain in SriLanka Pedro thalagalla, kikiliyamana mountain, Gregory lake, lepord rock etc . These attractions you can see from this point. I am very lucky to say this to all.

This place is lovely for sunset watching; enjoy the sea breeze; under the coconut trees; and nice spot for instagramable photos. The place can be crowded but enough space for anyone find the right spot to relax, chit chat and enjoy the sea view. It is walkable from Mirissa Beach or the Parrot Rock Bridge along the coastal walk, approximately 30-40 mins. Those don’t want to walk can take Tuk-Tuk along Matara Road. We love the sunset here and it was just marvellous!!!
