Clean enviroment aroud the hotel. Location in Gelugor and the area is not very crowded. The room clean and worth your money for the price. Staffs are very friendly. The location is quite strategic because it only takes around 10 minutes from this hotel to go to Georgetown and around 5 minutes to the 1st Penang bridge.

Service: 1. Met Ginny when checking at night and she was awesome!! Great conversation and extremely helpful. 2. Check out - a different lady in the afternoon ( I wondered if i owe her money and did not pay - you will have a better experience dealing with a vending machine ) 3. Did not see other staff Facilities: 1. Bed is comfortable to sleep onl. 2. TV - Astro not working 3. No work table or night lamp 4. Toilet no ammenities - there is a yellow color bottle ( i was not sure it was a shower gel or mop liquid) Cleanliness: 1. If you hate cockroaches and insects - don't try coming. I was ok for me 2. Management should really do something about roaches and other insects - mosquitos.. Overall - ok for to sleep only if you have business around the area - SPICE area etc. Good luck :)

Hey there, I just went back from my short vacation at Penang. Stay here for a night with my friends. It is a compact yet so comfortable to stay. Got every basic need there, really worth the price. The staffs are also friendly, if your phone call isn't answered, no worries they will call you back as soon as possible. A little thing that I think can be improve is the sound proof but its just fine actually.

Great location. Comfy bed, clean, new and worth the value

I didnt expect much but wanted a perfect location between Gurney Plaza and Gurney drive food center..this was it! It is situated between the 2 locations I wanted to go! Very good value for money. There are 2 floors. The room size is reasonable, has all amenities..kettle, hair dryer, slippers, toothbrush set, shower cap, soap and shampoo. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows are new and the air con is cold. There is TV with HBO (or Fox) and National Geographic. There are 2 shower heads, the handheld and the rain shower. The only thing is that there is no separate areas between wet and dry in the bathroom/toilet. When I checked out, I asked if they can hold my luggage for a few hrs while I explored the malls nearby hands free, they were happy to help. Recommeded

Dirty & Disappointing

Reviewed By Win N

I chose this hotel because of it's location - it's walking distance to everywhere I want. I'd passed by it a couple of times while I was in Penang, and finally got a chance to stay here this time. Upon arrival, we had to greet (note that we had to greet the receptionist) and announce our stay. We produced the booking details to an Indian lady, and she did not even bother to read the slip, instead asking us how many days we are staying for. She had the absolute worst customer service in the whole place, we had to encounter her thrice in the 3D2N we are staying there unfortunately. She talks to you as if you are wasting her time and simply does not look like she wants to work at all. She also talks rudely to her superior, which I assume is the kind Chinese man running around helping all the guests while she sits and talks back to him. We were also rudely informed that we had to pay RM 50 deposit upon our arrival. When we mention that this was not informed anywhere, she merely laughed at us and said it's compulsory. Our room was not ready as we were early, so we left and came back around 9pm. We were greeted by a cockroach upon entering. We encountered another 2 cockroaches in the next few days. The toilet bowl was uncleaned with dirt residue from a previous occupant, which is completely unacceptable. The whole place just feels dirty and icky after these experiences. We informed the counter (Chinese man, might be the owner as he is very attentive) about these issues the next morning, and they cleaned it much more proper for our last night's stay. Unfortunately, we still saw another cockroach that night. We checked out on the last day and encountered the Indian lady again. This is literally what we encountered: "Check out ah? Receipt for deposit" *Hands us RM 50* That's it. 0 customer service. And the worst part is her attitude completely changed 360 degrees when 2 young Indian men came to the counter to ask for room vacancy. Absolutely horrid experience and will not come back again. I go to many budget hotels around Asia, and this is positively the worst experience I've had. Only giving 2 stars because of it's amazing location, and also to the attentiveness of the 2 Chinese men during our stay.

Worth for larger group stay in,beside the price...overall a pleasant stay in

Pre booking: (+) Booked this home stay 2/3 months before the actual stay in during 2017 day 4 Chinese new year. The 3 storey Terrance home stay consist of 8 bedrooms was just nice for my family vacation 17 pax for two nights. The pre booking was smooth and fine. The owner was very attentive to my request and queries. (-) It was about RM800++ per night for the whole house. During stay in: i) Home stay compound and facilities (+) 8 rooms location - Two rooms located next to car pouch at the back end (queen size bed rooms with toilet attached). - One room located at ground floor next to kitchen compound (single bed room with shared toilet). -Three rooms at 1st floor (2 rooms with queen bed size bed with shared toilet and master room with king size bed with toilet attached). - Two rooms at 2nd floor (1 room with single bed with shared toilet and 1 room with queen size bed with toilet attached. - 2 car pouch (+) In room facilities - Bathroom with water heater, shampoo and body shampoo, and place to hang your towel and clothes. - Kitchen with well functioned equipment such as refrigerator, microwave, drinking water filter, utensils, and etc. - Iron, washing machine and TV with Astro channel was provided as well. - WIFI was quite good. (ii) Check in This was the downside of it. As when we reached the hotel, all the way from Kuantan,Pahang and early check in was requested much earlier, it was not ready for us as the owner having few other unit to check out and short of manpower. I'm was not happy about it especially when you have elderly and kids tagged along. (iii) Location and security -The home stay located next to Perkapalan Singh(near seaside) and ample of restaurant in walking distance. - Homestay security was just fine as well. Overall it was a pleasant stay in. It will be great if the pricing can be reduce much more. For me, maybe won't return to stay in as there is ample of hotel / home stay nearby to tourist spots. As this compound as bit far from those common visit place and encountered traffic jams along the way.

Транзитная остановка

Reviewed By Лев К
