Not far away from Main Chowk. Close to many Popular cafes in the town. "The Chocolate Log" cafe adjacent to the hotel. "Crepe Pancake Hut" approx 100 meters. "Indique" approx 200 meters. "Lobsangs four seasons cafe" less than 500 meters. And, of course there is a facility adjacent to the hotel where you can play pool. Another recreational facility "the club house", approx 200 meters. Value for Money: 4/5. Budget Hotel.

I was looking for a quite place, though still within walking distance from college, HH Dalai Lama’s main temple and main square at Mcleodganj , (around 10 minutes)I enjoyed my stay at this place, the kind owner and his staff made sure that I felt at home, providing everything I asked for or helping me out without any hesitation.. This place has now become my future home, when returning back to Mcleod ganj. Last but not least, the views from my balcony on the high mountain peaks, just spectacular! My biggest thanks to this kind family, Vijay my kind caretaker and all the staff members for making my stay wonderful at Ekantlogde.

Reviewed By tarunmalik81When a middle class family planning for vacation and looking for Budget stay in Dharamshala then "Country Logde" is a good option. Yes, the lodge is not like 3 or 5 star hotel, its not like luxurious stay but you can feel like home. The lodge have normal rooms in different categories, one big common balcony/terrace and a big lawn area makes you relax and comfortable. The staff is very cooperative for all your requirements. May be they maintain all the thing now as my vacation was so old (year 2015). Sorry i am late for this review.

One of the most hygienic place to stay and have amazing food. Special mention to Mr. Rakesh who is leading the team. Such an amazing guy, who was putting his all the efforts to make sure nothing should remain short fall. It was an amazing experience to spend time over here with such an amazing, marvellous view.

Situated on a steep hill with a view of Himalayan peaks in East, forest in the West, a river flowing in North and village in the South, Camp Dharamshala is a luxury campsite and a perfect getaway for those who seek abode in the leap of the nature. Pros: 1. Luxury Tent w/all basic amenities. 2. Clean washroom w/shower & 24x7 hot water. 3. Decent food. I particularly liked their Dal Tadka, Rajma & Minestrone soup (one of the best I ever had). Breakfast (esp Aloo Parantha) could be better? 4. View & Joy of being with nature, of course & helpful Management & Staff. ( Sumit Ji, the owner is a humble person. We had gone down upto the river & started feeling thirsty. So, he arranged to send us water bottles & some juices personally through one of this staff) 5. Bon-fire & Barbecue (self) on demand. 6. Benevolent company of Zorawar ~ the camp watch dog who returns to the camp site at night, will give you company, will have dinner with you & would go back into the woods when the day breaks. Cons: 1. Since, the campsite is located on a steep hill (only 100/200 metres though), it may not be a bit of a tall order for the elderly or people with ailment (knee pain) to climb all up. Tip: Travel light; visit during Jan/Feb/March for the perfect pictures of snow covered Dhauladhar peak in in the foreground; request for a front facing for 360 view and be ready to absorb the nature!!! Suitable for solo/female travellers: Yes, indeed! (we ourselves were 3 females & found ourselves very comfortable all the time)

Most useless hotel I have ever stayed in.
Reviewed By AjayGupta12039It was my biggest mistake to book this hotel for our recently concluded tour in May 2022, there was no welcome call or message from them, they did not even guide on how to reach the hotel. Room was not ready even after 1 hour of their published check in time, it was untidy, washbasin had cracks, linen were old, they did not recharge the DTH for room even after 24 hours of checkin despite repeated reminders, no tea - milk sachets were provided. It was horrible experience.
