The restaurant is situated at the foot of one of the slopes. It is very elegant decorated. The food is delicious using fresh ingredients. The grilled beef was juicy and well seasoned. The food is good value for money. The servers were friendly and pleasant. Good to place for either lunch or dinner after a day out skiing. Thank you so much for the nice review. Amazing Italian meal at Sun valley Pizzeria after we did a long hike in the day. Right from salads, the homemade carrot soup to pizza & desserts - it was all terrific. The service was impeccable as well. Do try the ricotta cheese ball with chocolate nuggat dessert.

Chalet Gerard

Chalet Gerard was recommended to us by the hotel Laurin where we stay in Selva and we understand why they recommend this place. Chalet Gerard is elegantly designed, feels fresh and welcoming. Very nice location, better in good weather. We had a nice corner table for five and were tempted by the varied menu. I had a summer flavour Datterino tomato soup with a super light tasty crisp. For mains I enjoyed the Iberian pork belly. My wife’s lamb chops were probably even better. We could not have desserts, we thought, but ended up with delicious brownie with vanilla ice++, fruits of the forrest, cake basket with raspberries. Delicious food, presented very delicately and in a professional and friendly way. Very well done! Highly recommendable! Service and care is well understood here. We arrived in heavy rain by car. The hotel van just arrived home and went into the garage. Then came out again and over to us and invited us to follow into the private garage to park due to the bad rain. Very impressive thinking and service attitude. Easy to come back to!

Visited Pramulin several times during our ski vacation. The restaurant is reachable on foot from the town as well as being very convenient for the ski slopes. Our lunches were good, the staff were charming and very efficient and prices a little less than other restaurants on the ski slopes.

We deliberately chose a walk in the direction of this little mountain restaurant when we were staying in Selva - and we weren't disappointed. It is tiny, very traditional and the food is simple but great. It is clearly family run - we were served by the owners' daughter and even offered some free fresh-baked pastries to try as we were leaving. Only advice is to walk downhill rather than up when you leave!

If you ever have the opportunity to visit the breathtaking ski town of Val Gardena, make sure to stop in and visit the exceptional staff at Cianel. Fantastic food and excellent service makes Cianel my favourite restaurant in all of Italy. I highly recommend trying to burger, however every meal I saw pass by my table looked excellent. Can't say enough about this beautiful restaurant nestled in the spectacular mountains in northern Italy. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone back home looking for a true northern Italian experience!!!!

We stopped and had a late lunch outdoors at the White Wolf. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful weather, great service. And the food! The food shows the cross-country heritage of a place that might be equal parts Italy, Germany and Austria. My grigliata mista was quite good, but the absolute hit of the meal was the polenta con formaggio & fughi. Grilled perfectly, with the tiniest bit of crust, there was just the right mix of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth lusciousness in every single bite. In our family, we tend to share a few bites of everyone's meal, but today it was practically a showdown as to who would get the most of this wonderful delight! Oh, and did I mention the scenery? Wow. We loved our stop at the Wellness Hotel!
